    Love!!!!!! Thank you for such a detailed review. Just to clarify, Olaplex #3 is a reparative product just like K18. The difference between both is that OLAPLEX repairs the Disulphide bonds through its patent ingredient Bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate. The disulphide bond is the KEY bond for structure of hair. K-18 is repairs the keratin layer and the sulphide bonds. So Olaplex heals inside, K-18 heals the outside.

      So it’s safe to use both in one hair care routine since they each repair different parts of the hair?

    They both prevent damage. Olaplex is temporary and k18 is more permanent. Olaplex tackles the disulfide bonds k18 tackles the disulfide bonds and the whole keratin chain. I’ve started k18 and it’s given me results Olaplex shouldnt especially with the new k18 oil x

      Olaplex is cheaper
      Can deep condition after 4 minutes with k18
      Can leave k18 in
      Without conditioner k18 can dry hair out hella

    I don't think you're supposed to wash it out... maybe just use a leave in after applying k18... just a thought.

    • @EishaTaylore
      @EishaTaylore  ปีที่แล้ว +9

      As I mentioned, the rep from K18 said all you need is 4 minutes. It penetrates into your hair so you can deep condition after. It’s not being wash out if it already penetrated in the hair.

      I think they've put more instructions on the site since this. The instructions I followed were to leave it on 4 minutes, then condition and style as usual. So without washing it out I apply a deep conditioner after 4 mins of k18, then rinse both out before styling.
