“How to snare a prince”, rule #1: research all the single princes in the world and chose the most dull witted and emotionally broken. Then proceed to the next rule.
Unfortunately, you hit the nail on the head! I don't think she got much of a prize, even if he is a prince. I doubt I could sit across from him at a dinner party & not be bored to death!
Rule # If your celebrity/royal's beloved mother is dead, study her life story, wear her perfume and find outfits that remind him of her. Visit her grave together, hug the headstone and tell your target she believes his mum is happy for them. Meghan could do a whole chapter for their next edition! Thanks Shauna, so good to have a laugh about these two.
@@ShamrockinMomhile Harry certainly isn't the smartest guy, his intelligence (or lack thereof) isn't what got him sucked into the relationship with Meghan. It was his emotional neediness that did. Happens every day around the globe. Unfortunate.
Meghan saw how weak he was and the web went around him. To do those things about Diana was the lowest of low. Once she had her claws in him and told him how badly the Royal family was treating him and that only she could help him he was done like dirt. Your on your own Harry live with it or get the hell out.
and do you know what I find weird about all of this? There are still many who believe Harry is 'as bad as Meghan' and wont even entertain the idea that he is being controlled and manipulated by her.

A new meghan rule could be *smell like their mother!*. She definately trapped him and I think she adjusted the rules to suit the man. However - no matter how we laugh and say how dreadful she is I think she probably got a shock when she after had that very quick wedding the real Harry was revealed. You can see from how he talks about women in his book that he isnt the nicest of blokes and certainly no gentleman and wasnt there something in one of their interviews where something was mentioned and Harry said he promised never to do that again? I think instead of rich prince she got an entitled lazy man child, incapable of doing anything for himself and with one of the nastiest tempers she probably had ever seen. On the other hand Harry himself probably got a shock when Markle outshouted and out nastied him! I think Meghan is probably now thinking she should have listened to the *be careful what you wish for* saying!
This video is hilarious. I was in stitches at the anticipation of what was coming next, especially watching you crack it after saying at 9.39, "It's tempting to drop your friends and family ... I don't think she read the rule properly. " Absolutely loved it! 🇦🇺

A friend of mine found this book in a second hand shop and bought it (because i told her about the connection with meghan) and we've had a good laugh about all the 'rules' (and the need for women to play with men apparently) and i 100% believe, that she did them (apart from the last one about the press) in the beginning (i.e. the first meetings). Obviously she dropped all the pretense and rules once she had him on the hook to switch to a form of love-bombing, mirroring and playing to his shadow-self. Once she had the engagement ring there was no need to adhere to the rules anymore. She could claw and adore and stare all she wanted, because he was already hers. I absolutely believe that it wasn't hard for her to get him, using the rules and the knowledge about his mother-complex, especially since he wanted to be married and have kids ever since William found Catherine.
She did try to make out as if she couldn't just drop everything for him at the start - the way Harry describes how fortuitous it was that they had the SAME week off to go to Botswana! Wow! Amazing! What a coincidence! ...Sure, Harry.
I know, as if she wouldn’t have cancelled EVERYTHING to be available to meet him. And he was fooled. Shauna, this episode on The Rules is very entertaining. You said you may be too cynical; I do not see you as such; I think that you are a realist interpreting her behavior as she presents herself to H and to the public. Thank you for your insight and sense of humor. Greetings from 🗽
It seems to me, If someone just naturally, intuitively follow these rules, because they were confident within themselves, and it wasn’t an act, it would work great. The problem is that when people follow them out of manipulating others, it often backfires at some point.
The one part of the Oprah interview I always thought was the most telling was her claim never to have even googled Harry. ‘Everything I need to know about him I will learn from him’ 🙄😂 I watch The Behaviour Panel on you tube. Surely there is a Meghan rule around supporting your celeb man’ s sporting activities such as polo? You know, the one where you act interested but to not overdo it by climbing on top of teammates for photo op?
I loved “The Rules”! It gets a bad rap. I used the rules to pre-qualify healthy men and disqualify narcissists. Before the rules I had no criteria to evaluate and identify good or bad candidates for my affections. Also, the rules apply to us women too. We can’t expect to land a great guy who’s devoted to us unless we are equally devoted. I’ve been married to my “Rules guy” for 21 years!
Too much lovey-dovey on the red carpet nauseates me. When affection is over-the-top, it doesn’t appear to be a natural state of mind much like the hand-holding that MM insist upon whenever she and PH are in public.🙄
I am hesitant about dating anyone famous or the family member of anyone famous. I live in Southern California and recently this guy who is the son of a famous singer really came on hard. The son wasn’t famous and nobody would know who he is until he told me, which is how I found out who he was. I googled him afterwards to double check he was who he said he was and indeed. I am skeptical of him and I told him I wasn’t interested. I would never ever date anyone famous. Just my two cents.
I heard about that book in 2005 when its sister book came out "The rules of online dating" came out. Some of it is interesting, but I am sure difficult to follow.
11:06 wear a necklace with H and M initials, or better still get H to make a press statement about leaving Megan alone 😂 none of us had heard of her until then!. I expect she clapped her hands with glee and thought, yes, I'm now known and he's a definite plonker and taken! 😉
She didn’t follow the rules. She’s incapable of following but her own. She tried so hard to playing nice, naive, controlling Harry, over talking, kind, and smart during their dishonest engagement. interview. I can already tell that she’s not showing her true self. Although, she couldn’t helped but showed her narcissistic personality as her mask slipped from time to time. Then, catch herself by grinning, and holding her excitement because she bagged a beta male who she can easily manipulate and control down the line. Knowing what we know now…She’s teaching us great lessons about psychology, narcissism, and all the dark shadow of being human. It’s hard to believe how she threw away a great opportunity to serve and make a difference. Because. She wants to be the center of her own delusions. 😢
She has a degree in international studies, but didn't know who H was and, in one interview, said she didn't realize England still had a royal family. So, apparently, her college coursework didn't include Great Britain, one of our (USA) closest allies. Right....
This video should have had this warning: Do not watch whilst sitting in the ‘Quiet Carriage’ on a full commuter train. I’ve laughed out loud so many times and are now having trouble containing my composure to the annoyance of those quiet passengers around me. Thanks for a fabulous video Shauna. 😆😂🤣
I bet you there's a book review out there somewhere about The Rules, that mentions a few of them or just highlights the general topics of the different rules. And that's what she's read. Because I imagine that book itself in a stack somewhere around the house between the beige and brown books with a pale pink Anthurium or Medinilla magnifica on top. The son wasn’t famous and nobody would know who he is until he told me, which is how I found out who he was. I googled him afterwards to double check he was who he said he was and indeed. I am skeptical of him and I told him I wasn’t interested. I would never ever date anyone famous. Just my two cents.
Absolutely love your humour 🤣🥰
I heard about that book in 2005 when its sister book came out "The rules of online dating" came out. Some of it is interesting, but I am sure difficult to follow.
Absolutely love you l always laugh so much after watching you.
😊💗
11:06 wear a necklace with H and M initials, or better still get H to make a press statement about leaving Megan alone 😂 none of us had heard of her until then!. I expect she clapped her hands with glee and thought, yes, I'm now known and he's a definite plonker and taken! 😉
This is one of your best! Thank you. And no you’re not cynical. You just have a brain to see.
Meghan, would still be waiting in the restaurant today waiting for Harry to turn up!
😂 That’s lovely! ( & funny) 💕
It sounds more like a narcissists handbook..
It does!
Rules that she invented herself might be:
- mirror his heart's desire
- use other people's quotes to impress
- emanate down-to-earthness with high spirituality
I’m still convinced she nabbed Harry by saying she’s pregnant!!
