American military personnel, do NOT wear medals. Ribbons, or other awards on any clothing but their official military uniform. It's a sign of respect for all branches of the military.
Btw, Arizona's Senator Mark Kelly was also at this "ceremony." He has a minimum of 21 medals. But he wore NONE of them to this ceremony because it was about the soldiers, not him. Respect.
Also, why is Harry, a non-U.S. citizen, honoring an American military hero……there are far more noble Americans who can confer the honor.
