- Hello guys! Let’s start of this year with my most difficult cover i’ve ever done, i really like this song and i gonna be honest, it was painful to play… My body ain’t used to this kind of speeds and it took both physicall and mentally on my body. So from now on will i take a break from this kind of extreme drumming (of course not the metal drumming overall, but at least not play stuff around 270bpm in a while haha)
However am i really happy over the results and i hope you guys will enjoy this one!

@@KholmDrums I do notice that in your signs of the swarm cover you swivel more. You see to tighten up during long durations of 16th note double bass. Maybe you can play The breeding process or Cynical Entity from Aversions Crown soon after some practice. But anyways an awesome cover again and nailed nice work dude!
@@AlexNourse52 I had to put my springtension to max, what happens then is that the pedal gets a bit more responsive, but another balanced, which my swiwel in my right foot could not handle since i still go between swiwel and the floating technique, i will try to practise that up more! I can maybe do an Aversions crown cover later in 2019!
@@KholmDrums You could try getting used to max spring tension, I took a part off of my pedals to make the springs tighter but keep it like that and you'll be flying once you get used to it

Brand new heads for this cover! I change the heads around 3 times a year on my toms! Usally does my Snare and bassdrum hold for a bit longer time, most because i have my toms tuned low which makes them take some more beat much faster hehe.. Do so and thanks for watching!

If you slow down the video 0.25x speed, the hammer blast at 1:22 continues even after he stops playing, and the insanely fast double bass is really off with the audio. I have idolized this guy for years and would hate to think there's been a ton of editing... but I think he may have. Can someone please prove me wrong.
Plus I cannot see any triggers on the snare, but it's definitely triggered and that's fine, but where is it? Also it's just too fucking clean, I'd love to believe it's real, but every fucking note at 0.25x is just too perfect.
There will always be people like you man, checking in slow-mo to see If it’s fake.. People being so negative minded who needs to ”prove” such things. It’s not a hammer blast, It’s a gravity blast which picks a stroke both when going up and down of the hoop. If you want I can send you a video of the GoPro angle so you can hear the raw camera sound.
There are no triggers on my kit, but most of the stuff in this video is sample-replaced. Because that’s how drums in these genres sounds nowadays. Make sure to understand how some things works man before you blame on such things.
I don’t wanna be rude or anything but comments like this when you obviously don’t understand how some stuff works makes me just sad.
As well If I would have idolized someone for years would I never even have had thoughts like that...

@@KholmDrums I'm really sorry, I am well aware how uneducated I am on audio recording. Also I know what a gravity blast is and what a hammer blast is... I can't believe I made that mistake. I understand that the audio is sample replaced and I know that's the norm in metal, but the audio that it's replacing doesn't seem to be 100% synced. Like what I previously said, the gravity blast continues after you stop hitting the snare, that's not just sample replacing - the audio isn't the same as the video.
For the double bass, there had to be some quantizing right? It's too clean, and when slowed down, I can see the double bass hits aren't 100% consistent, but the audio is. Not a single flaw in the timing - that's inhuman.
Again, I'm not hating you at all and I don't want this to come off that way. I just want to further understand how talented one can be, and without all these edits, I don't think this song is possible. I just want to understand what has been doing so I can understand what I'm watching. You are my favorite drum cover channel and that hasn't changed, you're insanely talented and I'll never have the chance to be as good as you.
As for what you said about the idolizing... I have to disagree. I'm constantly checking on the people I idolize, because once I see how good they are, I'm even more blown away, and love them more. Plus, I'd like to do that so I can trust them so I can continue to idolize them.
