I like romance as much as the next person, but now it seems like they aren't even focusing on the romance plot line or build up in the story, it's just all about getting freaky. I agree, I’ve had webtoons from way before that were actually amazing and never removed them from my list (some with maturity themes but it’s not an abomination freaky as it is now but still had good story, plot, characters, and substance)

You should definitely review the new webtoon “In Between.” It’s about a girl named Eunsoo who has a childhood friend named Sia. While in middle school Eunsoo grows a crush on Sihwa but he moves overseas before she could confess. He never contacts her even though she kept contacting him. Fast forward a few years later, Sihwa comes back and he knows she has a crush on him and he is just the worst person ever. He starts manipulating her feelings t get her to let him stay at her place, to hang out with him, and Eunsoo has no backbone in any space of her body. She is like a doormat, Sihwa walks all over her and it infuriates the hell out of me.

Webtoon doesn't have much cute soft original romance to read anymore imo. I literally read a webtoon that used magic as an excuse for grape that I quickly dropped and people thought ts was "cute." It's called Who Stole The Empress. It's either censored smut or madness on webtoon nowadays (The webtoon's ML is a whopping red flag as well but what can I say.)
