Ive been playing it for just over a week now...111 hours played...weirdly I dont feel ashamed al all 😂😂. I cannot believe I waited so long to give this absolute work of art a shot!
While Factorio is the way superior game, this one is great to goof around with friends and it's a great entry level game to get them hooked on the genre!
I certainly remember those. The three minute time limit means there are many great aspects of the game which I don't have time to mention but I hope that it inspires some people to check it out. Thank you for your comment.
@@WhoTnT might as well tbh, in early access the combat is a small part of the game. I think in the full release they're adding more creatures to fight with.
Very good review! Mostly accurate, the only thing I disagree with is that although you can play multiplayer, i dont think it excells at multiplayer. I couldn't imagine someone else changing my factory, but maybe that's just me.
Thank you for your comment. To be honest I played this game almost entirely with other people, and there were definitely some disputes but especially exploring the landscape was fun with friends. Feels a little lonely solo in this game.
@@engin3ar that's one great thing, the game can be different things to different people. If I'm on the computer, I'm already alone, I play satisfactory for a calm zen like escape that I can get lost in the automation.
@@marcbennett9232 I hear you, that zen quality is wonderful and quite unique to Satisfactory, it's a pleasing environment. The soundtrack is something I listen to sometimes even when I'm not playing the game. Factorio has zero chill in comparison.
@@marcbennett9232 Yes! I played with a friend and completed the game in Early Access (obviously, 1.0 is coming out in September). The end was quite a climb in terms of producing an insane quantity of items.
@@engin3ar Oh yeah definitely! It's top down, 3d, colorful and chill like satisfactory, and the "end game" of creating dyson spheres is really fun and satisfying! the interstellar scale of logistics, and traveling between planets are so unique and cool too
The game feels kind of empty and desolate to me in single player, when played with others I felt the exploration aspect of the game was more enjoyable. Thanks for your comment!
@@engin3ar obviously being a sandbox game, it's your world so you play by your rules. That said, what you describe is what I think the developers were going for. It's intended that it feels empty and desolate. You are the only person on a planet and your employer has sent you there to exploit the resources of the planet.
@@Shadogi if the developers were seeking to create that sense of isolation I feel they would not have added multiplayer. Although it's not a crafting game, a good game which does enforce this kind of isolationist spirit is The Long Dark.
@@Turtle_on_da_skateboard I played factorio in multiplayer also but considered that to be less ideal for multiplayer, not just due to the lack of exploration but technical problems like lag which I didn't experience in Satisfactory.
This is more my speed. I get Subnautica vibes from the visuals which is an entirely positive thing!
Never played that but I can definitely see the comparison! Subnautica looks like a similarly immersive atmosphere and beautiful game.
No idea why I'm watching this review... Already got over 1000 hours on the clock.
GOT 'EM! 1k hours, impressive.
Same here
Supercool graphics! Who knew? Thanks for sharing! ! !

I was absolutely hooked when I first played Satisfactory also, played it like a maniac for weeks. One of the most addictive games, deeply satisfying!

@@binary_gaming113 I think I agree!
for that reason, satisfactory is obviously superior
@@Blacksoul444 hard to blame anyone for preferring Satisfactory, it is a phenomenal game and much more chill experience.
Solid overview!
great 3 min revieuw. also the spiders need no mentioning. but the first encounter usually will be very very haunting 4 most players xD

First? I still get anxious whenever I go into places I know have spiders. Bastards always surprise me still.
We just turned off hostile creatures to get a pure building experience

Looks great, will check it out
I came to this game via Factorio and really enjoyed it for a lot of different reasons. Beautiful game.
I've played ALOT of Factorio but I love satisfactory now because the environment seems to get boring and depressing in Factorio haha
Best three minutes listening to one of my most favorite games out there (BTW I already know most of the things about this game) 😁😁
Thank you, I appreciate it! I really love the game also and I'm a novice at making videos like these.

Hard disagree on the game exceling in multiplayer. I would argue it's meant to be played single player, but is still fun to play multiplayer.

What ai is this?
It's not AI but I am not very skilled or experienced at this so I hope to improve.
the AI voice used in this video is so monotone that is literally uncomfortable to watch
You're right, I will fix that in future videos. It is not an AI voice!
I'll take heartfelt understated enthusiasm over over-the-top singsong crap any day. Nicely done.
