Hey Smith, I just started juicing which is basically fasting. Not steroids but drinking the juice from fruits and vegetables instead of eating. Some people can do it for 2 months straight but I just try to do it at least a few days a week. I have lost 22lbs in a month so far but more importantly I no longer have high blood pressure or acid reflux problems.

Smith careful on the fasting, it's fine in moderation and has documented health benefits. But if you do too much for too often you'll slow down your metabolism so much that it will end up hurting any weight loss you may have achieved. Make sure you consult a dietician for more through information.

The same thing happen with over exercise, if you want a fun/interesting read the biggest losers study is a good example of over exercise slowing the metabolism. Long story short the large amounts of exercise combined with inadequate caloric intake of the show were largely short term and in some cases harmful to the long term weight loss. Moderation combined with patience are the key to success in long term health and weight loss. But your right in saying metabolic damage from and starvation modes from fasting is a myth; although metabolic changes are well documented they do not equate to this so called metabolic damage, and any so called starvation mode would not really affect smith considering where he lives, his means, his love of food, etc. since he is not actually starving that should be a given.
Also it is utter bullshit that someone went hundreds of days without food, there isn't a single verified case of anyone going over 70-80 days without food, regardless of how fat they were.
Drinking a decent amount of water before going to bed is a trick they used back in the day to get up in the early morning for hunting. The technique still works obviously.
My friend had a parasite in his stomach for some time, he was really ill with it for months, coming out from both ends aggressively. The doctors didn’t know what it was. We then nicknamed it Parasite Pete, in the end my friend was given really strong antibiotics and Pete was no longer.

Maybe don't develop an eating disorder Smith, ffs. Just cut down to 1,500 - 2,000 calories a day rather than cutting out food entirely 2 - 3 days a week. It takes more self control to eat properly than it does to fast yourself into lethargy.
Depends on your expenditure/use. If I did that while biking ~10 miles every day on top of a exercise routine daily I wouldn't have enough energy intake and would burn out in fatigue. If I just sat down at a computer all day with moderate movement then cutting intake would take out unused energy being stored sure but I wouldn't gaining any muscle mass, increasing endurance, or really getting in better shape. Then again changing your lifestyle and adding in daily exercise is a bit harder than just saying I'm not going to eat. Worth noting that since you haven't changed your lifestyle, as soon as you "go off" this diet you're just going to go right back to where you were, as with any person who thinks diets are temporary. You have to change your lifestyle to see any meaningful lasting progress. Keep in mind I am a Mathematician by training and a furniture/woodworker by trade along side investing, so I'm not insanely active cardio wise outside of my exercise and walks/jogs I go on our couple hours to keep blood flowing. When I added in correct diet and exercise over time I saw a lot of change and felt a lot better in general. Perhaps just not eating would have worked I guess but having full healthy meals that taste great also makes me happy so I'll pass.
I like the idea smiffy, but in order to get rid of the fat instead of the muscle, they have to have some food intake. So perhaps in addition to water you could have a dispenser that routinely gives raw eggs.
