Hey guys, this is my parents bakery, firstly thank you so much for the support, my dad’s been really excited about people coming in saying they saw his pies on TH-cam 😂. We’re a small family business and he’s been baking for over 30 years so super grateful for all the support from everyone. Secondly, our deepest apologies for the hair, we use a brush to clean the top pastry off before egg washing so it must have fallen off and my dads not seen it, I’ll tell him it’s time to retire ol’brushy. We hope you can forgive us for this. Thanks Greg for the review, love your video, please pop in to say Hi if you’re ever around again 😁
Mate you gotta try Little Kiwi Bakehouse at Nerang. Absolutely Incredible pies and sausage rolls. Best I've ever had. Reviews are off the chart. Just a small family run shop and always busy. Be prepared to line up
You know when a pie is so good that you don’t need any dead horse on it & at 7:19 is that one of Greg’s own hair or one of the bakery employees hair ?🤔👍
Thats the key brother, if you don't need dead horse on a pie, cause you just scoughed it down because it was so delish. Thats a good pie. But too much pepper to me that one.
Meh cheese & bacon is the bees knees if they get it right, but yeah you can't go past a steak & pepper pie for sure, hence why I can't resist one of each aye, lol
Mate, you shoulda called into Satispie at Beenleigh. Pies are cheaper at $5.50, and though I've not weighed one, I'm willing to bet they come in heavier, have chunks, and taste awesome!
Hey Greg. I know of the place - popular and busy at lunch times. They also make a very good Banh-Mi. You should try it some time when you're passing thru and feel like one.
Mate most 4 packs are between 150-175 grams each pie. Rarely you’ll find a pack over 700g. The 2 packs are more the 200g size each. But with downsizing they’ll drop to around 300g a box soon no doubt.
Finally you tried THE best pies on the GC AND they are the ONLY ones who have steak and kidney!!!!!!!!!!! Their bahn mi's are the second best on the GC.
Grego that Oxenford bakery looks convenient cool i might drop in there as a lunchtime stay within the pac motorway sight . You what was missing was tomato sauce it would made it 10/10
Hey Grego my mate B-Rad told me the other day to try the pies at Saigon hot bread worongary exit near 7-11 , steak pies are soo good man you need to try cheers
Hi Gerg, Have you tried Syd or Sydney Pies next to The British shop on the way to Brisbane. Please can you do a review of it. You are definitely a Pie connoisseur. You have to definitely try the kiwi pie shop in nerang. There pie are very tasty and flaky and delicious as well.
I paused the video when I saw the picture so I can comment that I am certain that pie will be delish. Also I know by now that Greggo won't enlighten us with dollars per kilo for some reason that makes no sense. Enjoyment of food goes further than taste alone. ❤️❤️
@@urgonnaluvit Cheers dude, I wish Greggo would do the math. I just saw Greggo give that pie a nine out of ten. At over thirty bucks a kilo for take away food I would think there goes three points straight up. No way that pie is nine outa ten! 😡
Welcome to oxenford grego been here my whole life it's the best bakery around. It pumps all day long tradies have to park on the main round cause of that crappy carpark 😂😂 Try the vit roll next time your in the area ❤

Well Grego, a Meat Pie after taste in a Meat Pie, would certainly surprise me and put me off. Hmmm, I'd probably get a Sausage Roll and hope it has a Sausage Roll after taste. Thanks for the heads up though mate. 😮😮😮😮
The other day i had for the first time a steak and cheese pie. I was expecting them to just put a few bits of grated cheese in it. But it was just like a steak and pepper pie, but they put a big slab of proper mature cheddar on top of the filling before they put the lid on. It was epic. Short crust pastry too not that flaky stuff you see too much these days that goes everywhere. Ultimately though you need a decent bakery/ pie shop for a good pie. Supermarket ones are usually dog sh*t

As a former pie shop owner, $7.00 for a meat pie is about the norm now, especially in western australia, I sold my pie shop at christmas time just gone, because the cost of everything kept going up, ingredients especially, margarine to make the products went from $48.00 ctn before the bullshit pandemic to $73.00 mid last year, meat went to over $12.00 per kg commercial price for course beef mince, custards and cake mixes almost doubled in price, frieght costs nearly doubled along with energy prices, staff wages and the super annuation gaurantee also increased in the past 18 months, the business owner has to wear this cost, if the product tastes nice and is a reasonable size, around the 300-350 gram size then thats not to bad, now $5.75 for a bacon and egg mcmuffin that is a ripoff, cheers love your work.
Oxenford Bakery is a rippoff at $7 for a 230gm pie. Try Satispie Beenleigh, Holmview Central Bakery or Big Mammas Meadowbrook where you'll get a 450gm Steak and Pepper for $6.50

I am a local and tried them once before... Never since..might have to try again to see if greggo is right
$7 pies, $16 hamburgers, $25 pizzas and $15 + for a meal at Macca's, I think the best value around town now is the sausage sanga from Bunnings.
$3.50 for a snag in bread is getting expensive
Looks bloody delicious to me😋😋😋
They also have great Bacon and Egg pie.
We get the half bacon egg family pie take it home and have for dinner it's so good
Based on your review, my friend and I went there yesterday (Monday). I had a steak and mushroom pie and he had a plain steak pie. Both were delicious.

And after many episodes of ‘still game ‘ I wish it even more.
