Most locals for a normal beef pie is $6 though

Agree. A local place does pizza size pepper steak pie (and others) for 15 to 20..... ..only twice as expensive yet awesome and enough for a family.
It's like that will all local takeaways. At a local burger joint you can get a cheaper burger that's one and a half times the size of fast food burgers.

It seems to be a trend these days; pay more and get less. Companies think the average punter has the attention span of a golfish and can't remember the cost of something from a year ago.
Having said that, I am partial to a Mrs. Mac's pie.

That didn't look too bad actually. Four n Twenty pies are ok, but if you can't or don't want to make it from scratch yourself, I'll always choose Herbert Adam's pies.

Yeah, I'm gonna give Red Rooter a miss on this one & any other items, for that matter ❗️I get heaps chunker pies from me local Bakehouse for $6.60 & long big sausage rolls for $5.50 & they make a heaps superior cup of coffee ☕ than Red Rooter would ever make ❗️

Miss Macs beef cheese and bacon pie is the best. Some of the Balfour's and villes pies that have been in the warmer for 2 3 hours are the best too! the trick in good delis and servos is to but a pan of water in the warmer!

How does it compare with the kfc zinger pie in 2015?
It just looks like a frozen four ‘n’ twenty pie, but with red rooster chicken & gravy instead of the normal pie meat. Could have done with a bit more chicken meat in it & at $7.45 way overpriced, but pretty much everything is overpriced at a fast food outlet these days.
Meant to be given at $5 and you can also buy them in a 4 pack from Woolworths haha

Seems like a nice idea. Every chicken pie I've ever had has ben a chicken and vegetable pie in a bland white sauce. They're ok but a proper chicken and gravy pie would be more satisfying.
Was thinking the exact same thing. The only chicken pies I've had had been chicken and veg or butter chicken. Chicken with a good chicken shop gravy makes a lot of sense for a pie filling.

Have fond memories of red rooter from when we stopped off at Cranbourne (Vic) on the way to Phillip Is on school holidays. Tried recently and it was ridiculously salty. Confusingly so. I've yeah, nah'd ever since.

Four pack of four and Twenty beef and cheese pies at Woolies $10. Cheaper on special. 3 mins in the microwave, or leave them in the pie warmer at start of shift. Not bad, and not 8 bucks either.
