Beautiful car. My biggest regret is selling an XT Falcon I had about 20 years ago. It was originally my Dad's and had a stock 221 with 4 wheel drum brakes. I swapped all the good gear from my XC. Warmed over 302 Cleveland, 600 Holley with vac secondaries and bigger jets, 4 speed single rail and 9 inch Fairlane diff so it had 4 wheel disc brakes. No aircon, no power steering but boy was it fun to drive.
Beauty. Love it. Many years ago (60/70) I had a 68 Falcon XT but only 250 but I loved the shape. I had it painted in British Racing Green & Gold striping down the sides. Always admired the Fords.
I grew up driving these cars and let me tell you they are NOT sports cars. Chassis flex, leaf springs, small brakes, see saw steering. Alan Moffat was a legend to do as well as he did. But you what ? I want another one.
Had one when i was 18yo - not GT just a 68 XT..... First car - won't surprise you to hear me say - WISH I KEPT IT!!!!!!!!!!! Looks and sounds great mate.
Mate that is one beautiful car , your very lucky to have one in that nick! I used to lust after these when I was living in South Africa they would have been 72/73 351 HO they sounded just like yours , I eventually got a 72 Torino 351 with straight pips and Cherry Bombs , keep it up I love the little daughter is into it, I used to take mine around in my Subaru etc she was the same😂
Mate Cecil is beautiful - wait to your kids are old enough to drive - my boys drove my XRGT on Ls - I’m not allowed to sell it either, not that I would.
