Ark 1: The ADHD kid
Ark 2: The Quiet kid
Ark 3: The Jock
Ark 4: Eccentric Serial Killer
Ark 5: Teacher
The rhythm of the ARK4 demo is stuck in my head. It's cool that the male voice choir gives more interest!
Ark 4 demo was so much fun to write :D And very easy thanks to the full orchestra patches. I'm happy with the sound there.
This is such a great video. It's gonna be the first recommendation I will give someone when they ask me about the differences of the Ark series. I'm very impressed. The explanations of each Ark here are easy to understand and straight to the point, and the editing oh man, it's great. I also really like the fact how you included a great demo for each Ark, they are a very clear example to what they have to offer. Keep up the great work!

This is a very very great review! It is definitely the best sample review that I've ever watched in TH-cam (and I watched so many reviews). Great video but I still can't make my mind up on which one to purchase. I have BBCSO and Symphonic and a number of other libraries and I am tempted for Ark 5 as I love the sound and the fact it helps me also as per the comment below "teacher". I will continue to watch all the Videos and maybe one day make up my mind :)

This was a very nice breakdown and comparison of all five libraries, but I’m a bit surprised you did not include a demonstration of all five libraries playing together and showcasing how they can work together to complement each other.

That's a specific articulation called Chords minor in this case.

@@KevinKuschel Irre. Gibts da empfehlenswerte Lernmethoden oder ist es einfach ein angeborenes gutes Gehör? Mit der Komposition für tonale Instrumente tu ich mich seit Jahren ziemlich schwer, und obwohl mein Gestümper trotzdem total Spaß macht ist so ne wahrgenommene Talentlosigkeit doch dezent frustrierend :/

As an avid use of ARK 1 and mostly insterested in clustered huge pieces its the only orquestral library i have and o Got no regrets

*_Ark 1 is pure Fortississimo (THE CHOIR). Ark 2 is atmosphere realm. Ark 3 is also Fortississimo but you must be "high-leveled" (Perfect for composing something discordant, lol, for the sake of the theme)._*
*_Not sure for 4 and 5. 4 sounds similar to 1. 5 is a tool of hope._*
*_I'm not even sure to save up for Ark 1 since I followed a fellow musician who uses Ark 1 too (I'm rivaled with Oceania 2 and Symphonic Choirs, or 8dio's other tools)._*
How would you compare the choirs in Ark 1 and Ark 5? Just different effects?
Ark 1: Legato with Aahs, sustains, marcatos, some glissandi. Overall sounds a bit more far away.
Ark 5: Legato with syllables, sustains, pad-like sustains, crescendos (long/medium/short), rips, glissandi and shepard tones. Overall sounds a little bit closer to me but not sure? Ark 5 also has a third mixed choir patch (male + female).
Ark 5 will do better at supportive textures and swells than 1. Though the legato can also go quite loud.
Check the product page -> Instruments for both Ark 1 and 5, they have demos for each patch. Hope this helps!

Ark 1is more "organic epic", Jaeger more "modern processed epic".

Metropolis is perfect if you can't orchestrate however you will sound like the rest of the guys who can't orchestrate.
...and you can make it sound quite beautiful if you have some arranging skills.

"Composers" don't want to put in the years of hard study and when someone makes a (tough) valid statement you try to ridicule it. "Can't argue with a fool coz onlookers can't tell the difference and beat you with experience" applies here
