Such a cool line, but it tells you so much about Bruce Banner. The Hulk isn't something that overpowers him at his worst, its something he's constantly trying to repress. Letting the Hulk out is easy; he just has to stop trying not to.

Also, the ad lib about trying the shwarma joint a couple blocks away. They were due to start promotions and they decided to shoot additional footage with no script in the bonus scene.
The studio was supposed to be printing final copies to send out for the premiere, and a last second [not even last minute] inspiration led to the rush in one evening to shoot.
Everyone was provided their costumes, and Evans had a prosthetic chin that he held in place because he had grown a full beard for his latest movie project. That was why he just sat but wouldn't eat.

One point where the MCU fails in is how they treat their Gods compared to their comic counterparts. In the comics, when a God is killed it is not usually a permanent thing. Of course, the same can be said about their non-God characters as well, HAHA. Both Thor and Loki have died often, then adventured their way back from death to life.

Redirected Gladiator's beams back to his eyes, instantly knocking him out. The blasts were said to be hotter than the sun. (Incredible Hulk Annual 1997)
Matching two Avengers teams during a prolonged period of time even though the Hulk was gradually weaker due to a physical separation from Banner (Incredible Hulk #321-322)
Unleashing intense gamma energy shock waves from his body, Hulk almost destroyed the entire East Coast with a single footstep, while also threatening to destroy the entire planet... and even then he was revealed to be greatly holding back! (World War Hulk #5)
Destroying the Crypto Man after its physical strength became superior to that of even Thor (Incredible Hulk #205)
Overpowering Thor on several occasions (Hulk: Let the Battle Begin #1, Incredible Hulk #440, Mighty Thor #385, Avengers Assemble #4)

Oddly it's never mentioned in the film, but the Marvel website confirms Loki was under the influence of his scepter same as the Avengers. Although his actions were his own, it amplified his rage, especially towards his father and brother. So that's why he was more willing to hurt Thor than he would've been otherwise.
