Getting straight out of bed early morning has been such an eye opener for me. I use a light therapy alarm so my body naturally wakes up because of the light in the room. A perfect way to start a great homeschool day!

Ok! Last comment. Totally agree and well said. We were not meant to take in that much news at one time. The benefit of a social media break. (Which clearly I’m not doing right now.)

Love these tips since it's so helpful :), I tend to take break from social media since it can be overwhelming for me.
I usually take my dog out for a walks when the snows starts to melt since we don't normally go outside for walks during the winter times. Also just having a moment with our partner and kids are important as well :).

I coach homeschool mamas to use a timer for their kids! If you’re wanting quiet time, even a few minutes, put the timer outside your door and let the kids know they can interrupt when the timer rings.

I agree to becoming a bit extra for the bedtime routine as we age! My hubby teases me cause it takes me like an hour to get ready for bed every night haha. Totally extra 😜 When I was younger I just washed my face and brushed my teeth and hit the pillow!

Amen! I totally agree about supplements. And now that I’m moving into perimenopause, it matters as much as early motherhood. I’ve written about various supplements in my book and share details in a class. As a trained RN, this was def not on my radar before I became a mama.

To this day (& even in this moment), I am wearing joggers. After two decades of homeschooling our kids, I have two drawers of casual wear! 😂

Ok lady, now that I’m about to respond to yet another comment about a brilliant tip (addressing your thoughts and big emotions), I think I’d love to chat with you live in our communities. I’m over in instagram, Facebook and Patreon. Are you interested? (My entire online presence etc began because of THAT tip). 😊
