The block is suppose to be Ford blue, the heads are suppose to be black glossy, and the valve covers and air cleaner is suppose to be Ford T-Bird Gold. Looks like they got the covers and cleaner right, everything else is wrong. I don't mind a column shift but I would have to put in a floor kit. Don't know why anybody would have ordered a car set up like that, and it probably wasn't ordered like that. This car was probably sent to the dealer as a basic allotment car. The dealer never really knew what they were going to get as factory alloted cars. You could go pre-order before they started manufacturing for that year if you had the money to put down at least 10-20% of the order. We had a 64 XL and my Dad would get a new company car every two years, so he had a 66 Galaxie with air, ps,pb,am radio, a 289 high po and a 3 on the column. It was a really nice car almost the same car as this 65. It was black with red interior and that 289 high po was a lot faster than I thought it was going to be. I was 13 y/o at the time and had just started learning how to drive. I would drive back from my Grandparents house while Dad took a nap. Those old bias tires would squall around those high banked 2 lane highways. Dad would kinda wake up and by the time he was fully awake I had slowed down from around 75 to about 45, so he went back to sleep and I would open her up again. That was a lot of fun.
In Canada, Ford Canada, had a Meteor division, which was a cross between a Ford and a Mercury.
You are Awesome~
Nice.
I prefer one with Cruiseomatic!

Is this still available?
Is this still available? How much?
Hello There, there is a deal pending on it. Thanks.
More than it's worth I'm sure if it's a classic car company selling it
