I didnt want to or need to sell my gold 1970 malibu chevelle in 1989 when I went away to army bootcamp in new jersey I came home and my parents sold it without telling me because they were hurtin for $, they sold it for $500🤦‍♂️ the crager mags and wheels alone with the new set of headers were worth more than that. I still think about it😭 it was rusted out in the rear quarters but was a solid car from the doors forward.🤷🏻‍♂️

It was a 1956 Chevy 2 door Bel-Air . I paid six hundred dollars for it when I got home from the Army. It had a 327 / 365 h.p, w/ Muncie 4 speed, 456 gears , diamond tucked int, Corvette rally wheels, green and white original paint, beautiful car and quick too! Didn't have to sell, don't know why I did! Back then they were cheap. That was 1973… 6:18

(2) a 4 door 1956 Chevy 210, with an in-line 6 cylinder with a 3 speed standard transmission on the column, (3) a 2 door, 1950 Ford w/a flat-head V-8 w/ a 3 speed standard shift transmission on the column, (4) a canary yellow, black interior, 1964 Galaxy 500 Ford convertible, a 350 V-8, automatic transmission, all power and air. 1964 Impala SS convertible with only 54,000 miles on it that I bought when I was a senior in high school and worked as a lineman at the local airport after school and weekends. Uncle Sam called in 1969 and I got shipped off. Sold it for $1600. (The fact that it just had a 283 with Powerglide made it less painful to part with)

I sold my '68 Camaro because it didn't have seatbelts and my girlfriend had a two year old daughter that needed to be secured in a carseat. By far one of the stupidest things I've ever done!
The other one was a '57 Chevy stepside pickup truck. Small back window, root beer brown, beautiful truck! I bought a remanufactured 350 V8 built to 69 specs that I wanted to put in the truck. Unfortunately, attempting to install it in my parents tiny carport didn't go over well so I ended up getting rid of the truck and added another fail to my long list of lost opportunities/regrets.
In an ironic twist, I'm currently in the process of reviving a '69 Firebird that's been sitting in the same tiny carport referenced above for over fourteen years.

I fully restored the M37 after spending 4 years and a lot of money. Then, i finally was able to find a 1967 Lotus Cortina cheap enough for me to buy, but I had to sell them both because of a divorce.

67 Chevelle 396 SS. Had a 4 speed, factory air, 4 piston disc front brakes. Couldn't get insurance at the time, too many points on my license. Had to sell a 68 Firebird 400 convertable for the same reason. The 69 Cyclone we just blew up 'cause it was a Ford.
