I’m totally confused
A woman mysteriously washes up on the beach with no identity. Falls for the hip guy. Then the movie looks like it switches to home and away about a whole bunch of other characters in dilemmas that have nothing to do with this really significant event of a woman washing up on the beach with no identity!!??
That sounds exactly like Home & Away, tbh
It's a recent Australian movie. It's not supposed to make sense it's just supposed to make the industry look bad while the idiots who make this crap can pat themselves on the back because they were able to do this.

Not my review but echoes exactly my thoughts.
On the surface, 'Love You Like That' is a stereotypical cheesy romantic comedy, and that's what I thought I was in for: a bad Aussie film with the Beast's Son from Disney Channel's 'Descendants' - but oh my, I can't even begin to unpack this 104-minute film. For the first half, it's just bad - terrible jokes, and exactly what you're thinking you are in for when looking at the poster.

This was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I'm sure it only got a guernsey to be shown in cinemas because of covid-19 pulling other movies.
