very unfair comment - best thing for you to do is for you go to google maps and research the areas your intersted in getting GPS "yourself". then you will have the accurate coordinates you need. how would i know what exact area you would want..... good grief !!
@@rvertv sorry you took my comment the wrong way. I do use all the resources available but sometimes finding locations is not that easy. I enjoy your channel but there was nothing unfair about my comment...good grief!!!
WOW ! ! ! Being an ex-Arizonan, I did not know Joshua Trees Existed in Such Abundance, Seem like it Definitely Surpasses California Joshua Tree Nat'l Park. ---Cameron Park, CA.
Yea! Another field trip today watching from Cali... Former resident of Boulder City I watch cause it brings me back of wandering through the desert so peaceful! keep on driving 🌻
🙋♀️ The Joshua trees have a lot of character. I love how the drone footage shows how green everything looks. 👍 Another beautiful day to enjoy getting out for a ride.
Enjoyed today's ride with you. Never seen those exotic trees before, don't exist here in a Europe. Wonderful drone shots. Look forward to when you can take us to the Grand Canyon.
My first Joshua tree, it's a bit different from what I thought they looked like but they are really nice, the scenery is amazing, thank you for letting me tag along.
A big wave from Colin and I Russ. Thank you so much for the rest you give us from research and writing. Every time lately I take a break, I go on one of your trips with you as we both Loved travelling when Colin was well. We love the desert. It is so beautiful, and your mountain shots are breath taking, and of course color. You camera work is great Russ....Thank you Thank you thank you for sharing your videos...especially when we are isolated...Big Wave Russ....CDHx2
YOU ARE A MASTER WITH THAT DRONE! I have really enjoyed your videos. I live near Prescott and have a friend in Yucca. I've spent a lot of time in the Kingman to Quartzsite area. THANK YOU! (Love your little chuckle)........
Russ, if you go past the south cove area, and continue on about 15 miles---bingo, a landing area where river rafting trips end. There is plateaus where you can launch the drone for unbelievable shots. Also alot of dispersed camping in the area allowed, plus some old work camp areas from the great depression still there. This requires driving the dirt road to reach, but i did it 2 yrs ago with ease. I believe back in the 1800's, mormans used that area with some make shift cable bridge/ boat to cross the river. Thanks for sharing.
You are Awesome Russ' Kingman has great Restaurants as you have mentioned before... Garlic Clove' us really good!! I wonder if they're Still Open??🤙🤙🤙🌊😎
Thank-You for making these videos. I love this area of the country and have been on many of the same roads you travel. I love the music you use too. Very peaceful video.
I have a Joshua Tree in my home that I grew from seed. It is the second such Joshua Tree that I have grown from a seed. It goes outside for the summer months and than I bring it back in for winter and place it under grow lights. I understand they are related to the lily family.
Back in the 80's I use to bass fish around Callville Bay on Lake Mead Nevada side...since then the desert has reclaimed that marina which now I believe is a ghost town in a sense :>( Never been to this area on the Arizona side but have driven past it on the trip from Vegas to Prescott, Az.....really appreciate you sharing the view and stay safe out there :>)
The guy in that ambulance had just learned his subscription to RVerTV was cancelled by TH-cam. Must say, Russ, I think the drone is hands down the best investment you could ever make for your channel. Love the aerial views, thanks for sharing.
Head south towards SF peaks from tuba city & the peaks r far more majestic 3000 ft to12000 ft elevation 9000 feet difference, & vegetation on the MTN is beautiful
Funny thing, I was headed that way from Q on Tuesday but saw the temp changes and headed back to San Diego, but I will definitely go back and check that out. There is a guy in Meadview that sells hard to get telescope parts from what I hear. Look forward to part 2.
Nice trip Mr. Russ, I don't know if you went through this short scenic route through Kingman before but if you come from Route 66 from Oatman and make a left turn on Beale St. like going to Vegas, go pass the underpass I-40 and make a right turn on Ft Beale Dr. About 3/4 mile in, is Fort Beale Spring. Its a short walk from the parking lot to the spring. Also, a little further, is Johnston Spring at the hairpin turn. You have to use your buggy or 4x4 to get there though. There's also nice rock formations in this route. Taking this scenic route will take you to Stockton Hill Rd in front of Walmart ( Ft Beale Dr turns to Anson Smith Rd., left on North 6th St., Right on Sycamore Ave. This Ave. will cross Stockton Hill Rd. There's a spacious off roader parking area (35°13'34.62"N 114° 3'39.63"W ) at the hairpin turn. My wife and I took our buggy at this coordinate ( 35°13'52.47"N 114° 4'27.67"W) and had a lunch when we visited Kingman. You can see the whole city on top. Take care and be safe.
Wow really awesome Russ Thank you. Could you mention when you’re driving or using a drone like what is north south east and west just wondering no big deal. I always go and look on the map . I really appreciate you.
Thanks for bringing me along. Do you have any soft drinks in the back? :) Actually, I have just bought a house in Kingman. I'll wave if I see your Van. And good work, I have really enjoyed the scenery.
Many flat tires from Joshua tree needles on the road , I worked at circle k B4 Ford job, man I can believe the build up towards Butler ,, I didn't know there is a forest there , supposedly if u keep going u will end up n lake mead if your headed n that direction
Been down that little stretch of Stockton Hill Rd every time we go thru Kingman. Love shopping at Smith's, but would like to know where you get your fuel & if they have diesel so we can try them out. Hear that Joshua Tree NP is getting pretty stressed due to climate change, vandalism, & overuse so it's wonderful to see there's another place where they're surviving & thriving.
I was really struck by the fact that some still have to haul water because they have no well or other access. Just like the old days, I guess...amazing.
Believe it or not, most that land is corp/private owned. many areas are selling fairly cheap--but, zero utilities. Pass the lake Meade boat ramp (south cove) and continue on for about 15 miles and you literally come upon a ramp along the Colorado where folks unload from rafting trips. And yes, there is wide open camping. Turns to dirt roads, but 2wd ok. Some areas have vault toilets.
I thought the siren was for you Russ... You blew another stop light at beginning if you Vid. You have done that before. some of those a thousand year old Joshua trees always want to bust out in a hymn when I think of them

Did the Stockton Hill, South Cove run with my grandson 11 months ago yesterday. His first trip out from Ohio --- fantastic.
Love hearing birds singing! Also purple, yellow and orange flowers, pretty!

I didn't know that Kingman has lots of railway activity. I'm going to start looking for real estate there. Thanks!
We did this ride today, it was really pretty.
you do great work ! and i say that because i hate the desert but i love your presentations. You have a loyal subscriber , shine on my friend
Thank you
Awesome find Russ! Adding it to my future destination list. We were in Quartzite on Monday. We kept an eye out for the van but didn’t see you, haha.
Some of the road trip you tubers put up a route map when the video begins. I find that very helpful. PS I love Winco.
We stayed at Temple Bar several years ago, they had a marine and motel.
Hey Russ, congratulations! Looks like you hit 40K subscribers today! 7/8/2020.
That is awesome!

Blo Pez thanks good info
An Amazing place , I am surprised its not a national monument. Is it on an Indian reservation?.Great film.
Yes, Hualapai Reservation. They developed the Skywalk, rafting , etc.
Wow really awesome Russ Thank you. Could you mention when you’re driving or using a drone like what is north south east and west just wondering no big deal. I always go and look on the map . I really appreciate you.

Hi Russ, Really enjoy the road trips. Have you never been to table rock? Really neat.
wheres that ?
Around Kingman I believe . I will double check with my son.
We have a small camper, a Little Guy Max, rough rider edition. Is it easier to move around with a smaller camper compared to a bigger camper?
Many flat tires from Joshua tree needles on the road , I worked at circle k B4 Ford job, man I can believe the build up towards Butler ,, I didn't know there is a forest there , supposedly if u keep going u will end up n lake mead if your headed n that direction
Look like the motels are oprn there
Have you thought about going to the painted desert or is that too far for a one day outing for you something to think about have a good day bye-bye
This is a nice little pit stop between Dolan and kingman.
Been down that little stretch of Stockton Hill Rd every time we go thru Kingman. Love shopping at Smith's, but would like to know where you get your fuel & if they have diesel so we can try them out.

So,,,,, it was a "Grand" closing of the Canyon?
Great trip today. Is there any BLM dispersed camping out there where you went today? Sounds like it is 20 degrees cooler there than Quartzsite.
