This may be a weird question but I just started using my joycons on my iPad but I can’t figure out what button combo to use to get to paimons menu. If you could help me out that would be greatly appreciated🙏
Hi i just loaded the game but i can’t see any plus icon. There is no way i’m finding to do to the settings even. It is not even the head icon. 🥲 How so i fix it? i want to use my controller!
my joycons comes in a set along with the switch (OLED model), you can also purchase the joycons separately. It is available at most gaming/tech stores and also can be purchased online.

Hello, don't you know what to do with buttons on the side? (RS,LS,..), they don't work/aren't reachable so it's impossible to show details of things and so on?
The buttons on the side are usually for connecting the joycons to the device, but if you're using a switch, they are not important. If you're using them as individual joycons, they will act as the L and R buttons
I have an andriod/samsung, so I don't know if that's my issue, but my joycons are able to connect to my phone but don't show up in-game. They're connected seperately. I have a pro-controller, should I try that? If it doesn't work for samsung/andriod yet I'll just wait
FYI, the joycon cannot be used to control outside games (for example, your Home Screen / other apps). If not mistaken, I think it’s only usable within games like Genshin Impact. If you cannot use the controller in the game, remember to switch your controller type to “Controller” instead of “touchscreen” (or else you will not be able to use the joycon). you can try changing the button settings within the game. Let me know if this helps! ☺️

hmmm it's probably that the joycons are not in pairing mode? do note that your device has to be iOS/iPadOS 16 and above to be able to connect with the joycons

the menu is the “+” button. You can also hold down the top left button and choose a menu option with your joystick😊

From what you describe, i think its because you only manage to connect one of the joycons? do see if you connected joycons left and right☺️

Were you able to coordinate the button’s layout to joycon? It seems like the layout is for something else.

I am trying to sprint in Genshin but I feel like I am going something wrong, I am not sure if some of my buttons are working :(
Sprinting is the first R button, you can change it at the setting if you dont like the default one

I know you can do that with xbox pad but if your PC has Bluetooth and connect with joycons I guess it may also work

Ok so I connect the joycon and go to Genshin settings to put controls to controller but it won’t show controller, it only shows touch
maybe try to restart the game or your device? let me know if you managed to solve this issue :)

Do you know how to reconnect joy con after using it?
You would have to press down the small buttons on the side of the joycons. If that doesn't work, you would have to pair the device again

Go to Paimon menu
Click settings
Press the controller thing
Press touch screen
And done!

hmm is your nintendo switch near you? if yes, i recommend turning the switch's power off, then only connect to your ipad :)
