I used to live just up the road from this old farmhouse - Richard Evans built it when he moved up from the south to buy out local mines in 1827. He didnt stay long then moved to The Grange in Haydock. We called it Phythian's farm and they had great potatoes ! Weird to see photos of people I grew up with on your video. Paying rent to Lord Gerard £73 was a lot of money. Please keep in mind the people in some of these photos are still alive and living in the area. The name is pronounced "Fivian" its a local name from the age of Brigantes - pre Roman.
We have contacted the relatives who are collecting the photos and are over the moon that they have been saved
the photo of the little girl is me, i grew up at Ernies farm lots of memories of my great aunties and ernie

I have to agree with Andy on this one, camilla was beyond having children and Diana was used to bear children for Charlie and give him heirs. Throughly enjoyed the explore i love old abandoned houses and some history to boot.. Cheers guy's xx 💙💙
@Jade Ravenwolf They say that Harry was already born before Diana met James hewitt. There is pictures of a young Philip and you can see the resemblance of Harry and a young Charles.
I really hope Charles isn’t King either. The way he treated Diana was inexcusable, also I think there are many skeletons in his cupboard, and he’s not as law abiding as he likes to be seen. William needs to be King, otherwise I think the RF will be in trouble.

I’ve seen this property on quite a few channels now. You two are the only ones where I feel I’ve properly looked around this home. It looks like the old man had bodged the electrics, probably to save money. My father in law was like that. Beautiful entrance way, how spectacular to walk into that hall. Such a shame it’s been abandoned and left, I really hope someone buys it and gives it a new family to live in it. The photographs I could look at all day, looking at all the different styles of hair and clothes. As my late Grannie used to say to me, we lived in the good old days, I feel sorry for you young uns.

This was brilliant, I think I prefer the smaller houses to the larger one's I love the old photos and the little personal items like hats, shoes and glasses, I try to imagine the person wearing them, like that newspaper dated the 30th of January 1973 that was my older sister's 7th birthday, I would've been 5 at the time, and that old chunky fireplace it reminds me of the one we had in our front room at the house I grew up in in LANCASHIRE, yes Im a Lancashire lass and bloody proud of it

I agree with Andy Charles treated Diana like crap and went with that horrible woman and if she had of been treated properly Diana would still be alive I truly believe that. There's a lot of us that think her death was not all what it seemed. I'm sure Andy knows what I mean I didnt know he liked Diana but she was our Princess and so beautiful. She did lots for charities especially for Aids and trying to be rid of land mines too. She was criticised by the media and many more people. How can you be like that to someone who just wanted to help others and used her high position to do just that. Congenative is suppose to be heart failure its very scary when you get older .. one of my old school friends came to see me today telling me she has cancer of the lower spine. We all have to live for now and have fun while we can. You guys have got it right. If you are still active and can walk then go exploring. I love to watch you guys and you take the risks too and it must be scary at times. Keep it up and keep making us laugh you guys are great friends look after each other .. Love you both xxx
The picture that you pick up of that woman at 36.15 is an identical look alike of me as a younger women. I'm now 47 so both in 1977 on the 1st of April. But I can't get over that picture its me. You guys also mention the years 1976 and a few other things. Creepy at how much that woman looks like me. My mum was shocked. I even had that horrible hair cut. Lol 🤣 that you did mention. I hate it too. But again what a find when I find that picture of myself I will put it up here to show you guys the resemblance. So creepy seeing myself on someone else table in an abandoned house. Great video as always. I have got the Christmas decoration Andy picked up. My Nan bought it in Woolworths in the 50's and it still goes up every year.

Thank You for another abandoned adventure boyz! 😊 The photos, and documents help tell the history of the lives once lived in that space. We don't have really, really old buildings here in Canada. The aged architecture, and the way of life is so interesting in the UK.

That tv series was "Moon base alpha"..i loved that series and i still the hole series it was in the 70s i was not old i was born 1967 ...there was another series that i loved a British series call the survivers ..wow the years pass by so fast...

Lovely exploration. Looks like it’s more ‘ recently’ abandoned that some others. Always so interesting looking back into your culture, noting the similarities and differences. Bit of nostalgia with the Tate and Lyle syrup. Do you guys get permission to go into those places? Have you ever been unceremoniously run off? How come you choose the night to explore, or is it just the day and dark?
How does an abandoned home still have electric power? Also, it’s always do cold looking, so different from the Caribbean.

Hemiplegia is caused by either traumatic brain injury , aneurysms and hemorrhages or spinal cord injury that causes wekness and or stiffness in one side of the body so basically a stroke.
This place has been investigated a few times recently by paranormal groups and have captured spiritual things. Ernest was married to Elizabeth and she was a doctor hence the medical book. Regarding the death certificate, the bronchopneumonia and immobility might have been caused by the hemiplegia (pronounced "hemmy-plee-jeeya", more or less). Hemiplegia is "a condition, caused by a brain injury, that results in a varying degree of weakness, stiffness (spasticity) and lack of control in one side of the body" (This is from a hemiplegia support website), so she most likely had a stroke. Poor woman! It must have been really frustrating for her, especially if she was quite active beforehand. And how sad for her husband, watching her possibly slowly deteriorate. The "hemi" bit of hemiplegia refers to the hemispheres of the brain.
As to the wedding photos, I think you're probably right about the time line. The bridesmaid dresses were very similar in style to the one my cousin wore when she was bridesmaid for my Mum, although my Mum herself wore an ankle-legth wedding gown.
The EP on the pipe-stem probably relates to electroplating.
I wonder if the anatomy book belonged to the guy on the photo in the gown and cap? Maybe it was a medical degree he did? I wonder how old the book was? The photos of the woman were of yoga positions.
The second certificate you found was actually another death certificate. I think the first name on it was probably the lady it referred to. All this paperwork is totally fascinating! I could spend hours looking at it and trying to pick the pieces apart to find out their family histories.
Was it narcissistic you were looking for? And do you think that maybe Ernest is maybe a name passed down the family and there was more than one? Grandad, father and son?

Hemiplegia is paralysis on one side of the body. That contributed to the immobility and pneumonia. Just an FYI in case nobody answered your question. I love watching your videos and seeing very old photos.😊❤

Haemophilia affects the lungs causing Bronchial Pneumonia and also causes crippling arthritis as the bleeds affect the joints. Most die before they reach their 20's. Apparently rare for a woman to be Haemophiliac as they carry and pass on the gene generally. A HORRID affliction and extremely difficult to live with especially back then, poor lady!
