Nice tutorial. Just one comment though. Many years back I was participating in standards work with the Audio Engineering Society. At that time it was well known that CD recordings did not cover the human audio spectrum and harmonics that we perceive. The driving forces to accept CD specs were to help minimize the damage caused by needles in grooves and to introduce what could lead to a whole new paradigm in sound recording . There was tremendous pressure by manufacturers of this new technology to have the AES give it its blessing albeit lacking in fidelity.
Hi Phil - all your Audition tutorials and demonstrations are the best i have ever seen on youtube. You explain in very detal what happens when using effetcs. Pls go ahead nd congratulations
Is there a way to only show one channel for each track? I find very distracting having both left/right channels being shown. I know I can do that on Waveform editor, but I don't know It can be achieved on Multitrack editor
It's not something I've ever needed or considered to be honest. Personally I'd never like to use such a feature as the audio would appear as mono rather than stereo; would mess with my head a bit. There is a layered view in the audio editor section of Audition, but it's not something I like or use. This function appears to be disabled in multitrack mode.
Your information was spot on and I enjoyed your presentation style but...could you please redo this vid, this time using a proper microphone ? If only so the infernal tapping sound of your keyboard isn't so conspicuous.
These were made on a 'needs must' basis using what was available, for a bunch of students who had to attend college online. Sure, things could be better in this one, and others too. This is made using a laptop mic and is about as clear as it gets. If the info is spot on (thank you!), the audio is at least sufficient to do the job. No intention of remaking. Sorry.
Awesome video man this helped so much I am new to audition - great tutorial

A very good video. Thanks!
Been using it since it was Cool Edit Pro. I will use no other DAW ever.

the audio is really bad
Sorry Bro, I can't stay more than 10 seconds in your video cause your poor audio quality... I suggest you to purchase a microphone.
you can turn on captions, and tbh i dont think the sound is too bad
