Baler Brand Reviews

We are trading for a new round Baler. We went out for bid with John Deere, Agco Massey, and Vermeer to see what kind of deals are out there and who has the best baler for the money. We review the 460M Deere baler as well as my 2946A Massey baler.

I run all green tractors but when it comes to hay balers, new holland is king. Not a fan of their tractors. I run a New Holland BR7060. I’ve run it for 5 years and only had to replace a woodruff (Keyway)key on the pickup shaft. Give them a chance.

We run two 5 by 6 John Deere balers up here in South Dakota and we really like them, we won’t run any other machine. I see stahlie west now makes a steamer for round balers, we would be interested in one but I cannot find anyone on TH-cam who runs one.

Seems like I’ve seen one on Hay Kings on Facebook. They do make one I know. Wish I could justify one. I could if it would rain every year here.
