Been up today and it's best to park at the bottom and then when your finished you get a massive downhill through the woods 🪵. Love it up there and will be back in a few days
Wind and rain.. A constant now Phil where I live. I'm from the North and i miss all them outdoor wilderness type things..sadly I changed my tyres for schwalbe smart Sam's. Mainly road and gravel for me now. 🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲
Aye its terrible weather at the moment, but as long as you can get out, pedal away and enjoy it then thats all that counts. Good kit is a must too! Was thinking about doing a video on waterproof jackets soon too!! Thanks for watching!! :)
@@PhilCrombieMTB I think a hood on a waterproof jacket is a must or rain drips down your neck.. Just bought a hummvee waterproof jacket with a hood from ebay.. To old to wear hooded tops normally but when it's pissing down a hood helps ☔☔☔☔☔🚲🚲🚲🚲👏👏👏👏
Hey and thanks for watching 🤘😁 defo, hoping to do some rides with people after restrictions lift. Also got a cheeky mates race on pipeline so of anyone fancies a day out with a laugh soon.
@@PhilCrombieMTB Hey Phil, yeh I've been back a couple more times now and I've finally figured out how it all works! I had a crappy gpx that sent me the wrong way round Cragg initially. Perseverance needed, but all clear now :)
Great video Phil 🤟 Defo do more of these trail guides mate really liked it you know your stuff & awesome riding BUT that wind #hardcore !!! Ive had my Covid vaccine so we will have to meet up for this ride soon mate...
Hiya, I'd suggest parking in Rooley moor road. The lnnhead straight up rooley moor road Which is a slog but takes you straight there. Here's a link to where you can park and head straight up.. maps.app.goo.gl/D5fUz7oxoJwtGMf18

@@PhilCrombieMTB How do you navigate your way round, I find the direction/loop so confusing!?
@@jez-bird Hiya just keep an eye out for the white circles with red arrows on. After a few times you get to recognise it. Good luck 🤞

@@PhilCrombieMTB YEAH NP JUST KEEP MAKING THESE FIRE VIDS
Nice vid Phil, is it always that quiet up there or is that just because the weather was grim?
Hi Rich! It's generally quiet as it's a bit if an effort to get up there. But only saw 1 group that day, probably due to wind :)
@@PhilCrombieMTB nice, I'll pop it on the list, always assumed it was more jump orientated up there.
Hi mate what's the address of the car park for cragg quarry please? I heard it can be a bit confusing to get there ?
