    Awesome video mate.
    Pro-Tip: apply a lite coat of lacquer to seal your ink before you start engraving. The residue can be removed later when you're finished, and your lines won't smear from your hands constantly rubbing the surfacr.

    Your work is great! For myself I find Engraving to be more precise. You showed a harley piece that was dremel and engraving work looked professional. Obviously cannot inlay gold since it "may" possibly melt.

    Great videos man. I've had a few attempts using the burrs you recommend (05, 06, 07). Is there any way to cut the background a little deeper using a dremel on ali engine covers, and if so which attachment should I try? If not, will I need to go to an air-graver. Cheers, Doug.

    • @MachinaDesigns
      @MachinaDesigns  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you for the feedback. Yes absolutely. There are bigger cutting burrs available on the market that can easily do this job. There will definitely be some pros and cons over an air graver especially the biggest one which is cost. However you can’t beat the finish an air graver can offer! They are very easy to use and offer superior precision once you’re well versed with it. Hope that help

      RoadGlideSully thank you. For transfer paper you wanna use tattoo transfer paper that leaves a good amount of ink behind. I generally run the dremel at 20 000 rpm for aluminium. Oh the cut lube you reapply every chance you have. You’ll notice a definite difference if you don’t use it. Nice work

      Absolutely. It is a lot harder to cut through than conventional paintwork but definitely doable
