Honestly, I grow real tired of the multiverse/timeline bullshit. I was really getting into the new tournament and the outworld turmoil but then they hit us with a timeline timeline timeline
Hopefully they will listen to fans going forward. Everyone wanted to see Onaga and fans have expressed disdain for the multiverse aspects of the Netherrealm games. I think the multiverse stuff started as a way to explain mirror matches in game or how characters die in game and "come back", but clearly NRS lost track of what made MK fans so enticed with MK in the first place. We want a self contained story. And it doesn't even have to have huge stakes, just enough that we care about what happens to the characters.
I really had low expectations of the new story expansion after the main story…so I wasn’t expecting much I just wanted noob and the next one I want is Jade
Rage not only are you right about the missed opportunity with nrs’s dumb choices in their writing but also how they butchered a majority of the characters of how they were before they completely changed them to an extent that they’re unrecognizable from how they wrote them.

Do you all not understand that Warner Bros-Discovery is in debt. NRS only could work with the budget they have. Thats why the DLC pack 2 wasnt that great. NRS released a DLC expansion story mode in mortal kombat 11 in year 3. They released the DLC expanison for motal kombat 1 really early. We should all be grateful for their efforts. NRS just laid off their whole mobile game unit and you dont thinking they are having money problems? WB-Discovery is thinking about selling the IP to Mortal Kombat. So, they can get out of debt. We should be more appreciative of NRS. And not complain. We should be glad we got a DLC expansion early at all.
