Great reviews! Will have to agree with you on Absolute Superman. I really disliked how they forced Louis into the role she's "suppose to be" and made her instantly fall in love with Kal even though he just blew up her co-workers in a helicopter. However this issue it was introduced like you said, a lot more natural. I like they present him more as a shy kid who doesn't want to speak up but is still willing to take action when needed. The parents seem very realistic to me in the way they speak to him and the writer did a good job of making me care more about the characters and invest in them.
Yep, this one was a very pleasant surprise. I've quickly become a big fan of Rafa Sandoval and this is exceptional work. Issue 3 is definitely that make or break time for a new series and these all hit.

Yeah, issue 2 was rough. This one helped regain a little faith in the series. It either found its footing or played me for a fool.
Glad to hear Absolute Superman is still good. I'm gonna read issues 2 and 3 in the next few days.
Nice! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the next Absolute Bookclub!
Yeah, Absolute Superman blew me away too. Each 3rd issue of the Absolute liklne were top notch and hooked me where I was mostly not feeling it before.

Bet you're hyped for the new Deniz Camp ongoing at Image.
Yes dude! I'm hyped for that one. 20th Century Men was a top 3 book for the year it was released.
