@TheComicBookReport Yes! Roughly half. All of the Marvel ones minus Howard. And Batgirl amd Robin Year one. Ill be adding some i have not read to my list.
Skyward is one I really want to pick up whenever I can find a copy of the deluxe edition, that book sounds great! For a couple hidden gems that I’d throw out- Alias by Bendis and Gaydos and Black Magick by Rucka and Nicola Scott
May have just sold me on that *Sherlock Holmes* title even though I've aimed to stick with mainly Marvel omnibuses. Would love Marvel to dish out more Silver Surfer omnibuses, as well as reprints for the cosmic/Infinity titles (I only got into reading/collecting mid '23). Did pick up the Iron Fist & Mortal Weapons Omni but don't feel like I'd appreciate a bronze age Omni for the character like I would with having picked up Spidey, Iron Man, etc titles from the era.
@@allanaruba that Sherlock Holmes book was a blast! My review should be coming in the next week or two. And I do think we’re getting a new Silver Surfer Omni is April if I’m not mistaken which is rad ha
@ I read that Smith run ages ago, I remember liking it a great deal! I’ll need to revisit with fresh eyes, as able! Thanks for the reminder about Hester! It looks like I had encountered his work prior to Gotham City Year One. Thanks!
@@christocount5349 I just heard about this book last week! It’s literally in my Amazon cart 😂 I haven’t talked to anyone who has read this! So funny you brought it up! Good???
I picked up Skyward at a really cheap price. I read it in one sitting. I really enjoyed the concept but after finishing it, it kind of fell flat for me. But the artwork alone kept me engaged. Solid book overall.
Yeah art was beautiful, and I loved the premise and characters a good deal. I preferred the first half of the book more so than the resolution but still a fun, vibrant, and enjoyable book I thought
Have you read any of the collections showcased in today’s video? 🤔📚
