Thank you for sharing your repair process. I especially appreciate how you didn't turn it into a brand new bass, but brought it back to top playing shape while still showing some character from its earlier life.
Good craftsmanship and no talking . Finally a restoraion video that's not fake....i loved this
You think that’s good? Go check out that acoustic she did with half a neck 😓😳 never seen anything like it hahaha
@@schmechel6888 That's a good video
This, but also: how does she keep those nails intact and never scratch her nail polish? That shows how precise she is in her work :D
If it wasn't fake, there would be some kind of diagnostic before completely disassembling the bass. Maybe it was done, but it's NEVER in her videos. Also: never any playing before or after. 07:54 Not her shop, not her tools, ... a real craftsperson wouldn't care about having nail varnish, let alone care about having it match her clothing...
@zjokka well when is said it "wasnt fake" i was referring to the current phenomena in the restoration video world where they purposely distress or damage the stuff and then make a video of them restoring it. I dont think this luthier purposely made this bass look like a junker.....it was a junker and she showed herself restoring it......where is it fake?
Love that old Ibanez logo
Me too!
You mean Obene3?
This old man that has been doing this type of work for a number of years. All I can say is that I am very very impressed with the work that you do. You go girl !
HI Tanya I made sure and watched this entire video as I wouldn't want your puppy to be upset with me...oh and besides that I love to watch the transformations you make to these instruments...I think you're awesome!
Watching you work is like working in my yard very therapeutic and relaxing, thank you🤪🤘 ps, you definitely know what your doing and your nails are looking good girl🤘🌞😘
Thank you ☺️
I watched this after mowing my yard! And I agree on the nails. Liking that green.
Hi Tanya, you have just had a shout out from the Master, Ted Woodford. Well done.
I had mentioned her to him on one of his videos, but I don't know if he already knew about her, or he looked at her videos after I mentioned it. Either way, I really dig these communities of craftspeople, and seeing my favorite youtubers mention each other, comment on one another's pages, and even collaborate on projects and friendly competition.
And “why do you solder the frets?” perfect
Wonderful restoration, and repair! I was very impressed with the clean-up of the headstock (that is usually overlooked). You prove on every episode that there is noting better than a sharp chisel. Thanks to you, that bass now has a second chance at life. You made it structurally strong at its weak points, and shiny at its dull points. Well done! Enjoy your weekend.
Beautiful dog, beautiful manicure, and in the end, after a lot of skilled work ... beautiful bass guitar! Well done - I hope you're all safe still over there.
It does my heart good to see a fine but neglected instrument given the care and attention it deserves ! Thank you for your hard work.
Great job again Tanya! I love the patience and effort you take into fixing the details, well done!
Thank you
Thank you
I always love to see these instruments come back to life!!!
Love that you kept the patina, I prefer that!
What a remarkable save! Wonderful work.
I always watch your video in the morning during my practice/coffee time! ❤
Beautiful work! Very informative… thanks for posting and take care!
Just found your channel and I’m so glad. Really enjoyed your restoration. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
As a woodworker/restorer AND bass player myself, this is just immeasurably satisfying - thank you so much! Beautiful job on a cool old bass. I'd love to have you restore my old '61 Hofner EB-1 that I just gave to my daughter!
Another amazing video! I love your attention to detail and craftsmanship! Bravo!!
Thank youu🫂🖤🖤🖤 always loving your work
🤍
Always great to see real workmanship. Thanks for sharing. :)
its always a good day when tanya uploads 😊
Great job as usual! Love the way you varnished the neck!
Tanya, I could watch you for hours. It's a pleasure to watch you work.
Beautiful work Tanya!❤

You are simply the best, Tanya! I love watching you work and I look forward to the videos. Your nails in this video are by far my favorite so far, and they even match your shirt

Wow, what a fantastic transformation! Well done!
I learn so much technique from you. Thank you for sharing your craftsmanship.
Excellent work.. you keep your tools very sharp... the dowel jig was very smart !! Subscribed !!
Amazing work as always! Cheers from the states, y’all stay safe. 👏🫡
Thank you 🙏🏻
For me the reason to watch your videos in entire length is the sensitivity you work with (without talking). It has kind of a contemplative quality, thanks.
Always an inspiration. Thank you Tanya!
Beautiful work. The bass turned out nice . Have a wonderful day, thanks for the video 🌹
🤍
you are simply amazing! You are my absolute favorite Luthier on TH-cam, I have so much respect for your craft. I would love to see you explain what products and paper grits and solutions you are using.
As always fantastic work . Crazy how they left the end of the fretboard undone . Yet you finished it like it should be . I’m ever impressed by your mastery of work !
it isn't uncommon.
I wish you uploaded more of these videos. I love them.
Really like watching these videos so interesting & very good at your trade bringing these old instruments back to life, really look forward to seeing them well done you 👍❤️
Great job as usual, and extra nice to see my favourite shade of green on your nails 💚😄
As always, great job. I have played for over 50 years and am constantly learning new tricks/techniques watching your videos. Keep up the great content. One minor suggestion if possible. At the end, show before and after pics. Cheers!
Fantastic work as always! 👏

as seen before, always well done, inspirational work! thanx for that
Another wonderful job! Turned out great, Tanya!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Looks amazing, and you know, the video is relaxing. Like it 😄
Excellent improvements to a worthy instrument.
Your skills are being honed and perfected right before our eyes.
May you enjoy good health, much happiness and a long successful and sustained career.
Kudos 👍🏼⭐️👍🏼
Using that glue boost trick is really smart! I've seen Scott over at Harpeth Guitars do that on some really tricky finishes. It works really well! Lovely work, Tanya! Always!!
Thank you!
Super work and excellent taste. Just perfect for this bass.
Thank you
Excellent work Tanya! Hey to Tilda too.
You are amazing! Another excellent video, Tanya.
OMG I got lossed watching you do this work on this instrument, truly fascinating, great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You always do a fantastic job of bringing these guitars back to life. It's also fun to see what you've done with your nails.

Super job as always Tanya🤘
That's beautiful! Awesome job!!
Nice reno job, Tanya.outstaanding result!
I can't believe the excellent work you have done. You really are a genius. The only thing I suggest is that you spend at least 1 minute at the end to test the instrument. I congratulate you and greet you from Buenos Aires
Your videos are so well done and a joy to watch. Need to watch a load more before i attempt to repair a Yamaha LPC i have that needs the fretboard resetting though.
beautiful job! just got home from work on a saturday, cup of tea and 30 mins of Tanya working her magic.

@@TanyaShpachuk just installing a new bone nut (from blank) on a bass
Another excellent job! I like what you did with the neck heel. Very cool.
I LOVE watching these videos! I should be working on the dozen broken guitars I have, but Ms Shpachuk is WAY better at this than I am…
You are awesome. Tgmhe way you care about each guitar is amazing.
always a good day when you drop a new video :)
All my admiration to this excellent work! 😊
Awesome job! I love old Japanese stuff like that. I can't believe the end of the neck- so weird that was cut down, obviously original since the body was untouched in that area. You should really do a sound demo of the finished project 😃
You have just made somebody very very happy!
🤍🙏🏻
Beautiful work
Great work! I kinda wanted to see the bass played at the end :)
Amazing job as always and Tilda is so cute!!
Thank you 🙏🏻
awesome, Iwas waiting you play it in the end
You performed a miracle with this!!
All your viedos are very relaxing... you've alwas done a great work, a pice of art.. greetings from Mexico....
You're an artist. What a great and satisfying job.
Nice! Those old ‘70s Ibanez Fender knock-offs are really great when you fix them up!
Nice to see that worn old bass come back to life, another fantastic job👍!
Nice work. I have an older version of the Ibanez J-Style bass @ 69-71. Been using it for 50 years. Replaced one volume pot in 2019. 🙂
I'm amazed how well that fill-in block for the neck came up. Great work as always Ms Shpachuk
Thank you 🙏🏻
@@TanyaShpachuk No, thank you Tanya, for all your videos. For me, there are two outstanding guitar repairers on You Tube and they are Ted Woodford @twoodfrd
from Canada and yourself
@MrStevehunter33 And now Ted has given Tanya a shout out on his latest video.
Nice work Tanya. As always
Thank you
Nice work Tanya.
As always it’s been great having coffee with Tanya doing her magic, from your #1 Canadian fans, Paul and kitty Rodie (meow!) also nice to meet your puppy Tilda, be well, waiting in anticipation for the next amazing video, Ciao!
TILDA!!! Awesome work! Nice green on the nails
That was fantastic. I love the work you did on the neck. I would have probably just trashed it and bought a new neck because I'm impatient. LOL. I also love the shade of green on your fingernails. That would be a great color for a Strat!
So cool! Loved the clear sander square in the neck groove. 5:44
That thing was totally wrecked and you brought it back from the dead as only you can, Miss Tanya! Well done as usual.
Ця річ була повністю розбита, і ти повернув її з мертвих, як тільки ти можеш, міс Таня! Молодці як завжди.
Fantastic work! I wish someone would demo this bass guitar too.
This is so satisfying to watch 😊
Looks better than NEW , Great job , Huge talent !!!
Good job ! Well done 🤩
Great work, another awesome video
Holy crap, I was just thinking “why do you solder the frets” and then saw your sweatshirt. 😂😂😂
Tanyaaaaaaaa, I need rehab every time I watch you! Glad Tilda saved me with her compassionate eyes. lol. Great job as always.
Love your work.
Best bass I ever owned was a cheap Ibanez PBass. It had an impossibly playable neck, and sat beautifully. I did change out the pups and electronics but it sounded gorgeous even before I did that.
Amazing job...I love your videos, and Tilda 😅
Thank you 🙏🏻
Absolutely Beautiful!!!
