Ever since i was a kid i have always wanted to find Iram. I always played Uncharted 3 when i was a kid where the main character finds Iram. After I played it, I realized I wanted to discover Iram and I actually fund some good details about its location in the Rub' al Khali. I am still destined to find it and maybe even Shambhala. It is a big dream but i have fascinated to do so for 12 years since I was 12.
😅😂😅 he did! But it’s like his own Africa twin that he likes too. It was a bit ironic though that the only two bikes available to rent in all of oman and uae were exactly a Tenere and an Africa twin! 😂

No they are for water, it is even written on the signs in front of them in English and Arabic. As said in the video the region is highly affected by the monsoon season. 😉

What a great start of this new adventure! I use to activate subtitles in English when I see your videos, just to be sure I don't miss anything, and this time I even had to look for a new word for me: frankincense. Do you subtitle your videos yourself, or maybe you use your video edition program to do so, or even TH-cam? I subtitle my videos, as TH-cam cannot translate automatically catalan, and I know it's a hard work.
I use a service called rev.com , unfortunately the subtitles TH-cam does automatically are not so great and doing it myself (which I actually did the first 20 videos) takes forever with the right timing. But then I auto-translate the subtitles that I did on rev.com in the different languages here with the TH-cam auto translate - which is not perfect but actually better than you would think!
A great start to the trip and beautiful documentation. It caught my attention that your motorcycles bear registration plates from my city, Dubai. It seems that the rental company is from the Emirates and has branches in Oman..perhaps... Any how thanks for the video
I don’t know, I didn’t sum it up. Most expensive was the bike rental though, we stayed at very cheap (or for free) places the first nights, food was not expensive at all and petrol was 50 cent per liter. But then we as well stayed in some more expensive hotels in the end. So if you camp each night it is much more cheap than if you stay in hotels of course.

They don’t have branches, but deliver the motorcycles wherever you want to start (Dubai, muscat, salalah).
