Hey coach, I am really interested in staying a home care agency in NC. My concern is that the medicaid reimbursement seem really low and it almost seems impossible to make a profit. Are there other services that can be billed for that could increase revenues other than PErsonal Care Services and Respite care?

I'm an Accountant and Tax specialist i'm interested in open a Non medical caregiver in Houston Texas been in Tax business over 8 years looking to grow in other industry and God has been tell me about this business over and over ,been doing alot of research it looks like the Licence is very hard thing to get iam might be wrong.Thank you!

Hi. I am feeling inspired to become an entrepreneur and start a non medical home care agency in NYC. I checked with the state and I need to have managerial experience in the field and $2k to apply. Is this accurate? Am I getting the right info from the state? I'm driven to do this but I don't have the experience the state requires. I can manage and I have done so in corporate, but not in this field. Pls pls please advise anyway that you can.

H.s I became a CNA working in nursing homes, home Are, private care etc. later went to behavioral health left there ... now I’ve been in Health Care insurance Aetna n been ready for this listening to all the members need for this business n the fact I’ve made a difference over the years , I’ve been researching n have a business plan n name n did some leg work already , a location my grandma basement n I’m ready n doing exactly what I need now n going forward n to know its ppl out here like that give this inspirational advice motivates me even more because this can be scary ,Thank you #IWontGiveUp

Jamia Williams Hi Jamia, thank you for watching my video. Short answer: After getting my GED in 1989 I became a CNA and always had a passion to help others. After many years of working in corporate and owning businesses simply for money, I decided to do what would make me happy. So I became a CNA again in 2010 to learn more about the industry. I am an entrepreneur so I knew working for someone would never work :) So I began my journey of researching the non medical home care industry and here I am a few years later:)
I'm inspired....I am a cna and Im currently working as a scheduling coordinator for a home health facility....I'm learning the ropes to one day become a home health business owner
