Do you need to be a cna, lpn, or rn to be a private care non medial home care provider in ga?????? no one talks about the qualifications before you submit the application for licensing.
Hi Jackie, it depends on the state that you are opening your business. There are many states that do not require you to be a nurse i.e. Ca, Il, Ga, Fl, Mi, SC, Mo, Ka and so many more. I would recommend checking with your state's licensing department.

Hello I enjoyed your video and passion for what you do. I'm located in south Florida and looking to start a ALF in a home setting. I know you already answered the question but I got to ask you anyways because my situation is a little different.. I work as a firefighter which allows me not to work your typical 9-5 I work 24 on and 48 off. Would you still think it's not a good idea to open a small ALF that has 4-8 residents? Or how about I hire someone to be the administrator?
