OMG I am so waiting for video of him taking my bike on a test drive. I hope the carbs are close to synced when he gets it running. HOLD ON cuz.this is gonna be great.
Daily vids are an absolute yes, It's always a pleasure to watch before bed as I'm here in the UK. p.s i bought, fixed up and now ride a kx100 all because of this channel with no prior knowledge
Love the new format and the stream of consciousness commentary! And as a wise man (group) once said... Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more
A word on the fuel pump + carbs situation: If the cbr's system is similar to my old 98' zx9r, the pump will only do anything when it senses the float bowls are getting low. It signifies this by clicking a few times, so if this happens be aware it may still be functioning as intended. This threw me off once.
I fear aimless philosophical yakking about being a radio wave. Thanks for making motorcycle videos. When camera girl tries to change the subject, listen to her.
The choke lever on my 96 CBR600 F3 goes all the way to the end of the arrow. I'm betting the carbs are gunked up. I'm excited to see you work on a F3 like mine. Also loving the daily videos.
Just picked up a project myself hopefully I can get it running, it’s a 1981 BMW R65 I wanna just do a small budget build for it and get everything it needs and a fresh repaint should be clean on the before and after 🤙🏾🔥
nice to see a road bike instead of off road bikes being worked on, and info nobody cares about but we have the exact same laundry washing machine. I dont watch daily but i appreciate your daily vid effort. i likely check you out every few days but if time permits ill watch more than 1 vid. Your a great trouble shooter and explain things well, and your a lucky man to have a partner like camera girl !!
That D and D slip on is pretty cool piece that was the hot ticket early 2000s. I really like the old F3s. If you get a chance check out Honda F3 Smokin Joe Replica. It is a sweet replica of Honda's race bike back when Cigarette companies were still allowed to advertise in racing events. Keep up the great work.
Yup for sure. When he pulls the air box off and dribbles a little gas in those carbs it WILL spring to life. And OMG it sounds so good when it's running right.
Jake I don’t understand how you can be a perfectionist and detail oriented when it comes to fixing things but then not have your tools organized. Not to mention on the ground and bending over everytime to get a tool. It doesn’t make sense. I love your vids btw not trying to hate. Go get the mechanic or tech cart from harbor freight and some socket and wrench organizers lol.
I think Camera Girl had a good idea early in video to check the spark. Anytime u let your carbed bike sit ,it's a prob with the carbs. Boat motors same thing.
Gum in the carbs after seeing the crud in the tank you can count on it. Yep, the dailies are pretty good. Guess you'll know if they aren't by the comments.
Yes, I am liking the daily videos. Keep them up, but not at the expense of your wellbeing. Your channel will start gaining subs again soon, I can feel it coming -with all the recent uploads and engagement. Clean the gummy carbs and she’ll fire right up!
I think that before I took the carburetors off I'd check for spark. If there's spark I'd squirt a bit of fuel into the cylinders and see if it will fire.
Looking forward to seeing you fix this. Would that much crap in the gas block up the fuel pump? I would think you would want to make sure you are getting gas to the carbs before starting on them. You could clean them and then have the fuel pump dump a bunch more crap right back into them.
What I think is that tank is smoked with rust But then again watching on a phone You'll never get it out...replace the tank They dont make enough fuel filters Check those as well We have ethanol where I am I don't know about there but the water seperates out and kills metal
Oh heck yeah. Every so often I would take it up to about 150 mph, you know just to clean out the gunk. So I guess I didn't take it out often enough right? The gunk won.
The daily videos spoil us. We appreciate your effort, but don't feel like you have to post every day I'd be happy with twice a month. Regardless, I'm watching everything you put out
I think it is related to ignition. With 4 carbs in play, I would expect at least some sign of life. I may have started out with removing one of the spark plugs and check for spark.
Wrong. It ran but then got wonky and wouldn't cruise. Accelerate, oh yeah, cruise, it was stumbling. Then the next time I rode it, it was even worse. When one cylinder dropped out, I'm sure due to fuel starvation, I parked it. I'm putting clues out here. Keep the speculation alive.
Im thinking the dirty old gas, tank, and carbs are an issue but not the issue. Rather the bike wouldn’t run and therefore sat with the gas long enough to crud up the fuel system. Betting on an issue with the ignition system.
12:57 attempting that start I would have drained each bowl and let fresh gas flow into it but those four cylinders need to be synced after cleaning or they'll run like s***
The Keychain for the keys to the bike, the loop with the black top and the fabric in the clear plastic, does the owner know anything about that? My mom had one on her keys when I was very little
if you never had a streetbike before something tells me you gonna have one soon after this one
OMG I am so waiting for video of him taking my bike on a test drive. I hope the carbs are close to synced when he gets it running. HOLD ON cuz.this is gonna be great.
Love the daily uploads, would like to see more progress on the fixing of the bikes.
AWESOME! Happy to see a sportbike on the channel
Jake, please get yourself some t handle wrences!
LOVE THE DAILY VIDS AND LOVE YOU BOTH. Keep em coming for as long as is feasible
air up the mower tire!!! Loving the daily videos, I wish they were a little longer with more actual progress.
I'm getting into a habit of watching you guys every evening. I feel like I'm getting comfy for the evening and spending it with an old friend.
Daily vids are an absolute yes, It's always a pleasure to watch before bed as I'm here in the UK.

Yep, it is more for instant assistance.
Love my 2021 CBR600RR, bought brand new in 2022, now it has over 30k miles on it! It’s been a great bike.
I look forward to watching your videos every day! 😀
Like the daily videos. Keep on keeping on.
I have this bike! I’m following along to learn how to work on my bike myself. So hopefully these go into detail.
Love the daily videos, thanks to camera girl for keeping Jake on task!!! Lol
I like the daily vids, much more than whatever the previous schedule was... ;) Love your content!
Very excited to see a sport bike on the channel
Jake, please get yourself some T-handle wrenches. Big time saver.
Nahh 1/4 " impact with bits
Holmie ain't got no time for that
Enjoy the daily videos ! Think dirty carbs too.
I’m definitely liking the daily videos
I love it! I ride a 2010 Street Triple R 675 in black and gold.
Been waiting for this upload!
Electrolysis clean that tank up nice.
I'm loving the daily uploads
I fear aimless philosophical yakking about being a radio wave. Thanks for making motorcycle videos. When camera girl tries to change the subject, listen to her.
I never had a
Motorcycle I wish I did
Suggestion; Can you switch sides with the camera girl and you stay behind. Maybe just for a week.
I remeber seeing this model and even this paint scheme on the showroom floor new back in the day

I like these videos. I also like your early videos. all are good. you could have opened the air filter for us though.

Every time I watch your videos. Your husband reminds me of the actor Randolph Mantooth. AKA Johnnie Gage from the tv show EMERGENCY.
loving the daily videos
Love my daily dose of Jake! Dirty carbs for sure!
Yup for sure. When he pulls the air box off and dribbles a little gas in those carbs it WILL spring to life. And OMG it sounds so good when it's running right.

Love an old CBR! Great content. Miss my F2... but I want to keep my license 😮
Japan! Get it?! Get it?!
Don’t get me started, I got a million of ‘em!
Love the daily videos.
I enjoy the short videos
Yes, I am liking the daily videos. Keep them up, but not at the expense of your wellbeing. Your channel will start gaining subs again soon, I can feel it coming -with all the recent uploads and engagement.
Clean the gummy carbs and she’ll fire right up!
You can clean the carbs all you want you better have a sink gauge for those multiple cylinders
You could clean them and then have the fuel pump dump a bunch more crap right back into them.
yoooo i love the new garage!!!
love the daily videos
❤

But then again watching on a phone
You'll never get it out...replace the tank
They dont make enough fuel filters
Check those as well
We have ethanol where I am

Cool old bike. Very fast if you can ride.
Oh heck yeah. Every so often I would take it up to about 150 mph, you know just to clean out the gunk. So I guess I didn't take it out often enough right? The gunk won.
Most likely the jets... but also, is the fuel pump priming at all?
The daily videos spoil us. We appreciate your effort, but don't feel like you have to post every day I'd be happy with twice a month. Regardless, I'm watching everything you put out

If you ever get a rust tank you better coat it and that temporary. Rust will get on the float needle even through a filter
When the fuel looks like it came from the bottom of a deep-fryer, it's going to have carb issues for sure... :S
You need a mobile tool cabinet for your tools so they are off the floor and seperated😊
The iv might be over the top. Then again as I type my immediate thoughts it might be the greatest
Im thinking the dirty old gas, tank, and carbs are an issue but not the issue. Rather the bike wouldn’t run and therefore sat with the gas long enough to crud up the fuel system.
Betting on an issue with the ignition system.
Thank you!!!
dailies are good, you don't need to do much to keep some happy.
the fuel pump on the cbr is required as at heavy throttle the engine consumes fuel faster then gravity can supply it.
Daily video great
20...25 minutes is about right
Nowww we're talkin!
Saw it in 2 of your videos, figured it was your street ride. D&D sands for dumb and dumber doesn't it? Real fun (not) to get to carbs and plugs.
Does it sparks?
dear god, I love your videos, greetings from Croatia :)
Bonus singing. 👍🏻
I'd rather hear your philosophy, please don't ever sing again. Lol
34,000 is a lot of miles...but it'll go 90
Hondas are bulletproof
7:30 -- don't used a torch!!....
daily vids are good
Let’s see a 0-60 run when you get her running 😂
12:57 attempting that start I would have drained each bowl and let fresh gas flow into it but those four cylinders need to be synced after cleaning or they'll run like s***
The Keychain for the keys to the bike, the loop with the black top and the fabric in the clear plastic, does the owner know anything about that? My mom had one on her keys when I was very little
I don't know where it came from, but I'll be trying to remember.
You people are hilarious!!
Great somg!
Tires are fair! (translation, completely bald LOL)
Get him camera girl... get a tool bx, organized work station .. get to it already..
I well thought u would have had that klx300 😅
I would bet dirty carbs as well.
Is that an F4I. That would explain the full pump. Fuel injection.
Looks like an F3.
👍
What's with all the horse shoe art?
Shamone 😊
Woo
Probably from Japan!
Doug Dubach racing
I think it has dirty choneeze. 😂
Find me a commercials I just wanted to let you know US Bank has a better account than the bank you got..
For the love of god please start using cordless tools
Jennie must be pregnant by the comment you made 🤔
Trade a bike for a real toolbox lol
34000 miles is a bit high for a 600. I'd say that's about the equivalent of 120,000 miles for a car.
Maybe even 130,000
First !
