I love the Matilda. The old girl is a bit like me (old and slow) but, unlike me, she is a dogged fighter and good at her job!

The T-28E F-30 should've been Tier 5 with the 85 mm gun and DPM.
Back in the day, the HE rounds on the T-28E F-30 were completely filthy. You could pen a whole lot of low tier tanks for 280+ - in a tier IV!
and back then tier 4 tanks had less HP too
You can do it the same today, nothing got changed. Can pen T-28, T67, M44, BT-5 etc for 280+ with HE...

@@codebraker12 exactly. This is the part I should have spelled out. It was 280+ against tanks with far fewer HP than now.
Seal clubbing is a thing of the past. Most people out there playing tier 3 - 4's are with 5 skill crews, special equipment, and shooting gold on a regular basis. Rock on Tankers 🤘😎

the HE shells on this thing also used to be lethal against equal and lower tier.

you have a real job quicky. you went to uni and worked hard to be where you are today. playing games makes you money because of your effort and quality of content that takes time and skill.
Back in the days the pz iv with Schmalturm and the long 75mm was my favourite TierV, was very upset when they removed it...
Regarding the old T28, it had to Fight the KV at tier V, which is now the KV 2 and the KV-3, which was Tier 6...

m4-85 with same gun BUT on tier 5 has 400 less DPM, so this tank on tier 4 is indeed pretty good

I want to say that the VK2001 was one of the T4 German tanks at the start...was able to play around it though when it was in the tech tree.
If im not mistaken this tank has preferential mm on console.
No messing with tier 6’s
P26/40 is insanely powerful in the right hands. You have good mobility, armor and a 75mm gun which has good AP, but the best part are the HE shells with 70mm of penetration, meaning you can punch most tier IV and even some tier V tanks into the ground without breaking a sweat.

In my mind I often played the T-28 like a tier 6 tank, just a bit slow but it can often perform like one.
Using equipment to improve aiming makes a huge difference, surprised you did not use it
QB would love a live series of your favourite tanks from each nation not strictly from each class.
I seem to remember getting it for free in one of the rewards back in the day. I guess I should dust it off and give it a try

I think i got this tank through a series of missions for free, or through boxes i cant remember. Originally had it on the console version though, its really good and the gun packs an awesome punch

It's not as good since the nerf but it's still often OP.
@@neilwilliams4684 nerf? you mean the HE nerf, because 70 pen at tier 4 is enough for a lot of tanks, especially when top tier
@@agbrenv Yeah, It was hit harder than most by the HE nerf, but not as hard as the KV2!
@@neilwilliams4684wtf, KV-2 is tier 6 and has 25 second reload time, there's nothing comparable to P26
@@derrickstorm6976No need to swear. I was referring to the KV2 being very hit hard by HE nerf. I agree p26/40 is very good, just not as good as it once was. I stopped playing it for ages. Just started again recently.
Quickybaby do you think the proposed nerf to Minotauro is going to be enough? I dont think so.
They even buffed Minotauro engine power, insane.
Only a premium tank could have the firepower of a TD a whole tier above AND be a competent medium/heavy too

On T-28, T-35 & MT-25, the 57mm gun is a better choice than the 76mm.

I really enjoy this kind of videos. I would like it a lot, if you would make different videos for premium and tech tree tanks.
my favorite T4 tank ... beside his armor and his gun depression and his speed wich sucks but the gun is very OP ... i like it like no one ...

The Matilda is my go to tank when I just want to have fun and not take the game too seriously, I think I've got a turbo, gun rammer and something else on it 😀it gets up to the dizzying heights of 26mph and pumps out shell after shell, and get it in a tier 4 match and you can easily get 6+ kills, my highest is 9. 🙂
I play the Matilda again just to get at least one Ace with it and it's so frustrating. You got the dpm but so slow, got pen by everything and you can't trade. Got a 2K dmg game, 7 kills, still only a first class medal so I got to play it again and I don't like it. For me it's not the OP unpennable tank it was back in the days.
a good one for you is to play ONLY arty from t1 up .. and play all of them after t3 ...you dont advance up the tiers until you have 10k dmg at t4 and 500 dmg more each tier

T4 is serious business nowadays. A few years back it was a place to go back when MM was being cruel to you and you wanted to sit in a bush in your kitted out Luchs. Now it's a ferocious place of everyone playing their OP tanks in their kitted crews with consumables and very often platooned with their skilled friends.
There's nothing chill about it anymore.
I also experience long queue times.

The funniest thing for me about low tiers is seemingly seeing more people do "pro" tactics and obviously being veteran players than when i play in high tier games. World of seal clubbers

In c2013, wasnt this tank just called the T-28 than the full name now?
In WG fashion, there are variants of the T-28 (T-28E and T-28-85 which had the F30) but neither were referred to as the T-28E F30 (to my knowledge, based on the absolute truth wikipedia is).
Each tier should have "Max Crew skill" levels so seal-clubbers don't get to take their 4+ skills down into low tiers

love that tank. In credible pen and very high alpha. One trick.. if u face light tanks try the HE... if u pen u can get easily 300 damage which is crazy

I broke 3k damage in my F30 and it was still only good for 2nd class.

The T-28E F-30 was in the market last year for a very expensive price.
It is my go to tank when everything goes bad with tier 8-10 games, had best of my games in it. Gold pen can go through O-I and T-150 no problems, KV-1 it can eat for breakfast. Matildas - give me more, auto pen any place with gold. It can one shot m44 arty with HE and two shot T67. I play it like Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger when have to fight Tier 6, 3500 dmg is very common.
When will they improve the dead and destroyed tank graphics? Fade to dark gery is so 2010.
How about playing a Tier 4 Medium that anyone can actually get? How about a techtree one?

Ehh, back in the day. I rocked the 57mm on the T-28 and T-34, as far more accurate, fast firing. And better non gold pen, the best all around. And when I was playing those tanks. Gold rounds. Cost gold, no credits for them. And this premium didn’t exist. The 76mm or whatever back then. Fully sucked, horrible gun handling, not near the equipment to use, so gold was a waste back then in a lot of tanks.
tier 4 suits you :P stay there, but we all know your fav is tier 3 :P

I don't understand why you wouldn't want to improve your aiming time and not view range. Aim time is atrocious on this gun.

Loves playing low tier tanks at the moment, wide variety of tanks from tier 3 to 6 is awsome, Tier 7 and tier 9 are bad/unplayable in most of nation, tier 8 is farming credit playground of pay to win player, tier 10 is gold spammer kind of tanks
