"Let's use a panther hull and panzer 4 turret in tier 5, what could go wrong?"
Plus it has preferential matchmaking.
And also give it way better stats than the tech tree Pz 4 H in other areas too. Pz 4 H only has better camo (granted it is significantly better), and repair speed. Meanwhile Pz V/IV has better DPM, carries more ammo, better aim time, accuracy and gun handling, it's faster both backwards and forwards, and has more health and viewrange.
It was tier 6 when I got mine as a pre-order in 2011.
And it was absolutely trash at tier 6 (it also had pretty much no gun depression back then though, so it wasn't quite the same)
The pz3/4 used to be a tech tree tank. It's a collectors tank now. But that thing has 80mm of hull armour
back then when tier 4 like T-28 and Pz38na have to fight Maus and IS7 on daily basis, a Panther with Pz4 turret at tier 5 kinda mid lol

What's funny is that in WOT Console, this tank has 870HP, and before the HP increase it had the same hitponts as the tier 6 heavies

Panzer V/IV was sold in the Black Market. 5500 Gold.
And it wasn't even sold out
It was also sold for credits, I got one that way. So I guess there were two sales.
edit: No, I got the Hydrostat. My mistake, and I guess that's the one QB was thinking of as well.
On release of game you could buy 3 different starter packs for money. They included gold and a tank each. The middle pack contained the PanzerV/IV.

This thing is also a brutal tank for ramming your enemies. It can go at 60 km/h with a turbo and it weighs about 41 tons. With the thin armor and the lightweight tanks at low tiers, you can do some nasty stuff.
It was sold once in a Black Market for 5500 Gold, and it was randomly available in the key event!
This tank was originally only available to Beta testers when the live game was released. A beta tester had 3 purchase options before the live game was released. The American M6 Mutant at tier 8 heavy, the A-32 which was a Russian light tank (can't remember what tier), and the German PZ 5/4 which was a tier 6 medium. The tank was woefully underpowered and rather terrible at tier 6. When WG realized no one was using their PZ 5/4s and they really could not compete at tier 6 they buffed it by dropping it to tier 5 and gave them preferential match making. They also changed the gun dmg and hp but left the other tank specs mostly unchanged. It was at that time that the tank became OP. And then of course that is when WG started giving non-beta tester players opportunities to obtain this tank so they could make gobs of money off it...😁
Despite owning the Churchill III, the Panzer V/IV has my record XP
I think it earns extra XP per battle, similar to the Churchill III. At least it brings in big scores regularly.

"Contesting the hill" on TUNDRA (17:23) is not the most important thing a medium can do. The bad players go to the hill and if either side achieves control of it, they do not capitalize on the advantage. They sit up there and attempt to perform cheap shots. Let them sit there while you aid your team in dispatching enemy in the West approach (Heavy alley) then you flank the hill. That is the most important role a dominant medium can provide. The hill fighters will still be there, and that is they're undoing.

If you want more fun out of the Pz V/IV just wait a minute and at spawn before choosing a flank to go on a ramming spree. Run it with the turbo, hardening (experimental SIS if feeling spicy), and rammer.
Love my V/IV from the NA Black-market. Great for daily missions, one and done many times. Battle Pass to tier IV and V not only brings a bunch of OP tanks, plus low points threshold for bonus points, but also nostalgia. Like many of us, I got to tier 5 on the first weekend. Then the grinds started. We all spent a lot of time down here.

Love my Pz. V/lV. I have it one marked. Like most of my garage, I am not a player who can two mark my tanks. Most of my games turn out like your #3 and #4 games. Thank you Sir for the video.
Here is a concept for broken/overperforming tanks that are tier
Tell you what's brutal. Tier 3. Started a new account on steam sing WG don't let you link old accounts. Tier 3 is pure cancer. Pz. S35 gold spammers is just awful. All 30k+ games. Honestly I think there needs to be a separate pool for new players with zero economy to spam gold.

I like my Churchill III mainly because it's helpful for some daily mission (getting the most XP of your team 😁) and because, although being slow, it's fun to play 😊
0:57 It originally was a Tier VI Med but WG in their infinite wisdom decided to drop it down a tier instead of giving it minor buffs for tier VI.
Really nice to see a wolfpack in the bad game on tundra :) Honestly think that is one of the reason the Type 59 got its reputation was player in them where always up for a wolfpack back in the day :)

In the first Black Market, this went for 5.5k gold, which many people thought is an insane price for a tank that initially doesn't seem that strong, despite the Panther hull. People just ignored it at first.
It was my quickest purchase ever, luckily aced it before the requirements skyrocketed.
I'm not the most experienced with all of the maps, but the one complaint that I have with Tundra is, in some tanks, it feels too small.
That arty tracer looked like it ghosted through your turret shield. 😆
PZ5/4 was sold as a preorder at the end of beta. It used to be better when the panther was at t7.
Imagine how much better low tier would be if pz4/5, lefh and arty in general was removed. I know its never happening, but it would be lot more fun for everyone :)
So do we have actual BOTs now? I see unusual names with ":" before and after like in Warships?
I think streamers have mentioned that low tier games sometimes have bots to make sure there are enough players as there's issues getting enough low tiers in queue sometimes so maybe?
Yes pretty much anything sub tier five has bots. Mostly four and under in my experience
very low tiers if you queue with a premium on NA - you likely to get bots, as WoT doesn't allow premium to wait to long and there are not enough players on that tiers.

I remember I bought it with some gold in a package (medium of 3 different packs) after beta before the release. (EU)The other 2 packs was that big american heavy and a soviet light I think

I got mine on release after the beta, it was part of 3 bundle for supporting the game on release, I payed about £57 if I remember but I wanted it because it was German, I remember WG wouldn't sell it again so it was going to be Super Rare and I managed to 3 mark it! Well when they sold it on the black market and was disappointed... I still have my beta M4A2E4 that I got for playing 1000 game in the beta, really don't see that tank anymore, most people sold it for a garage slot, but its a part of my collection.
I got it on sale a few years ago at Xmas on the console. It was only about $7.
4:22 I got one for playing beta on EU server. The closed Alfa players got the big US Godzilla of a tank the M6A2E1...

I got this tank like 4 years ago, it was some kinde of garage sale in WoT, where you could pay I think it was creds to unlock a garage and you had a chance to get it in there, and you had to buy it then for gold i think

I really dont understand which feature of this tank justifies it having preferential MM, all the shitty Pz 4 clone tanks have the same gun, but with worse armor and mobility and viewrange

It was a pre-order tank as well as an Alpha tank (which has a special "Alpha" symbol on the side of the turret) as well, that's how I got mine.
Also, it was originally a tier 6 tank.
Why did they put it to tier V and gave it preferential MM?
This is the same tank I have in my WoT Blitz since the beginning of the game and I have played a total of 23k battles with it. I also have most of the rare camos in the game placed on that tank. Yeah, it's as OP in it's mobile form as it is OP in pc. As long as you don't be too confident in every game and think that your 100% invulnerable, this thing is a nightmare to deal with for enemies that have low pen, low caliber guns on their tanks.

I think Map Reviews/Guides might be another good series once he's done running through all the Tiers. Looking at one map per video and saying like Tanks with mobility here, tanks with view range here, turret armor here and here
Giving up on this series. Why pick premiums, especially those that are near impossible to get. Would have been better if it were tech tree only.

I guess this tank is a bit rare, I’ve always remembered the KV220 being so dangerous and frequent enough that there’s always someone who would say “aim for the turret” if there was one on the enemy team before the game starts
Actually like seeing the rarer tanks getting featured. Sure no one can get one, but that’s what makes the gameplay special

Pz has been sold one time too many tbh. It was available once on Black Market... But the biggest population spike it had was when we got the 1 chance to buy a 5000 gold box at the end of the last one. That basically had all the past tanks sold in those boxes. You were given 5 options if sales you did not have in your garage. Many got this, inc me. After that I feel I see at least one more or less every time I see tier 5 MM.

Single only reason I don’t play PC is because I can’t be happy without having my Pz V/IV from console.
I play for nostalgia and that’s a lot of it.
5 man toons of just Pz V/IV, had HP of tier 6 heavies if I recall and like 20-30% more dpm than the Pz IV H. So yeah.. just hold W and instant massacre.
I got an ace on mine 5/4, very happy with this tank. As an average player its more or less enjoying winning a game without any need of my team.
Pz V/IV was my first Black Market. about 5000ish gold.

I am not sure but i think alltogether you could get this tank 3 times. Last time with a special event when you could open boxes with special keys and with some luck...
I dont play anymore but i had this thing and it really is stupid. I wasnt great but i was decent at the game and this thing made it insanely easy to win

I got a Poole's medal for 11 kills (4 ram kills) and didn't ace it. I needed 4k combined to get 1st ace.
Best tank in the game, tier for tier. The correct equipment is Rammer, vents and spall liner. Consumables large repair kit, high octane fuel and chocolate. It becomes a ramming monster.

What are the numbers next to the tank icons?
Elite level. Unlocks after you have researched every module in that vehicle. Grows proportionally to the number of games played.

I bought this for the beta. But I was really bad and thought it was the tank and sold it not long after. Always regretted it 😫😢
Exept chieftain tier X probably the tank I want the most in the game.
the sad thing on Pz.V/IV is the pref MM it has. sorry the sad thing is that this beast with its great gunhandling, HP, armor and speed has it and the PzIVh and PzIII/IV with same turret & gun with their standard tier 5 stats have not. the PzIVhydro with same turret, gun and tier5 stats also has pref MM but for hydro this seems fit. PzV/IV should have pref MM similar to what a BZ176 should see: always being low tier up to +2 MM

when is the 1440p resolution coming?
If i remember correctly, he has a gtx 1060, which isnt capable of 1440p at 60fps
@@humanfromthesolarsystempla3143 In his FAQ, you can see his computer specifications. He has an RTX 2080 ti with an Intel i9 7980XE. He can easily do 1440p 60 fps.
