I wasnt expecting this series to be that great. A suggestion would be longest reload and shortest reload :), or highest and lowest hitpoint tanks (cuz i wanna see the supermaus)

shortest reload gonna be some tier 3 tank or smthn with a 2 second reload
For longest reload he could exclude arty and for shortest he can make it for example tier 7 and up.

they made HE more "skill dependant" in a game with +/- 25% (!!) RNG and on tanks with reticules that are usually even bigger than their targets. you really have to be very special to justify this balancing decision to your audience....
Couldn't have said it better. HE is dead because it hurts some OP Hulldown Monster on tunnel maps. Well done WG.🤦

@@vovochen "Learn weakspots" when using guns so inaccurate their reticle is bigger than the entire enemy tank. Derp guns (ie the guns where HE was powerful enough to be used routinely) are far too RNG-dependent to snipe weakspots with.
And of course, the HE change buffed the already-meta tanks like Chieftain and Kranvagn, which don't *have* frontal weakspots when they get into a hulldown position.
HE rework: the change we never wanted and never needed. A case of some idiot at WG "fixing" something that ain't broke to impress their bosses.
Exactly! There was no need to "rework" HE it was just fine and balanced and fun already but WG says no to fun and yes to pay for prem rounds or prem tank Fu WG (RIP KV-2)
HE was doing a bit too much damage on non-pens but this is way overboard. They did more harm than good.

Well, given the choice between getting hit with HE for low-moderate damage and getting spammed with gold, I wish they hadn't changed HE. Definitely a change no one asked for. Removing features is never a good way to make a game better.

23:26 I think that's precisely why the 430U's winrate is relatively low. You're far from the only person recommending it as a first tier 10 medium for new players to go for. New players are usually worse players, so they drag down its WR.
Really unfortunate in the T49 you got next to zero support from your team. Could have held the hill if at least a couple of mediums followed you up there.
I love these videos where istead of showing the strengths of certain tanks you talk about the weaknesses and give good advice on how to make up for it. Great content as always thank you very much:)

Because many players are tired of Russian tanks. They're the most populous tech tree in the game and the bias is obvious. They're just not interesting.

Hey Qb, I’m a console veteran and the type five is even stupider than on the pc. I have over 1000 games in it and it has a 14 second reload and 1300 damage HESH shells with 105 mml of Pen and heat with 750 alpha damage with over 335 mml of pen. It’s very broken
I think u still have the chieftain and the WT auf E100 in console

They buffed the Chieftain a few months ago so now it’s just better than the Super Conqueror in every way as well.
The Chieftain is insane on console.
type 5 heavy is unironically my favorite tank, even after the changes, but intuition made it so comfy

I played the KV2 this week because I needed to finish a kills mission. At tier 6, if it is top tier, the KV2 one shots a lot of tanks.
Like almost always, there is a use for many tanks. Examples: I play arty to get critical hits missions, and lights for spotting missions.
Lights for spotting missions, who would have evr guess that!
A huge missed opportunity was not playing the CS-63 in turbo mode the whole time, that would be hilarious

thats the thing about derp tanks, they may be statistically worse than the vast majority of vehicles, but what they lack in stats they vastly make up for in entertainment value

I got a challenge for QB. Play the least accurate tank with 25% crew but, you are allowed to improve the aim time, and dispersion on the move with traverse only while winning a good game.

As a LT player that has been 'balanced' a few times, while full speed and moving semi erratically, I can say the KV-2 isn't as inaccurate as it says on paper.

The thing that baffles me the most is how does T-54 ltwt have the lowest win rate of all tier 9 light tanks?! That tank is so awesome and fun to play.
The Russian line is usually the first light tank line players play. Which means they'll be making stupid mistakes in the Russian tanks and then learn by the time they play the other lights.
@@vovochen Winrates are a massive indicator of quality but they need context. Anyone sticking religiously to winrates for opinions is an idiot. But so are those who disregard winrate as a valuable metric.
Very Nice video quickybaby, really appreciate it. A suggestion for a new video: a bottomtier mix; playing all kinds of tier 8 tanks (HT,M,L,TD) in tier 10 battles. Cause of the current meta this is the reality for a lot of tankers

The KV 2 was always a go too tank for me as a stress relief untill the HE nerf. I enjoyed just throwing rounds down range and either big miss or one shot the enemy.....
I never had fun with the KV2; but I played Blitz, and HE has always been garbage there. I distinctly remember hitting the rear of an AMX ELC, and doing less than 400 damage. In fact, I only fired I think two HE shells in the KV2 that did full damage: one into the side of a KV1 (the only one-shot the KV2 ever gave me), and one into the side of a TOG.
Kv2 is pretty good on war thunder still, if I’m allowed to say that game here

I have an idea for this series, if you havent yet i think it would be a great idea to do longest aim times (do 1 arty)
did not know the HE nerfs were this drastic, i havent played t he game in a while but a 152 mm shell shot against 25mm of armor and all you get is tracks damaged not even destroyed is bs
Yep, they took the "explosive" out of high explosive shells.

After the HE nerf, the Sheridan is Dead, hope they add something to make it funn again, like reducing the dispersion to 0.40 or maybe 0.37 +Negative RNG (thats how they balance derp guns now)
Used to love playing the KV-2, pre HE nerf. Can still get some fun games, but the 1 shot kills have all but gone lol.

Hit a Strv 74 twice today in the mantlet with KV-2 (Bless RNG, am I right?). Result: ScrEeN nOt pEneTrAteD.
They just made HE shells like AP with an extra step basically, with low pen. You have to aim far more carefully for the right parts, but the kicker is that the accuracy is just as awful as before... I like how they said they'll make HE have more "predictable" damage... predictable my arse. Hit 2 pixels to the left (ofc through the bad rng the he guns have) where the enemy has a bit more armor and the damage difference becomes like day and night.
The HE rework was just basically treating the someone's cough with coughing syrup when they actually have pneumonia. The whole issue with HE spam at high tiers was the abundance of armor and hull-down capabilities of tanks that led to HE being the only reliable source of damage - 100 damage was still better than a bounce.
You my frienda understand what is wrong with the game.
The HE-nerfs fully cemented the hulldown Meta and it is gross.
I hate what they have done to the game.

I think the lesson from this video is about mitigating the weaknesses of your tracks by using equipment, field mods and play style.

As someone who plays a lot in the KV-2, I can say the first mistake you made is trying to improve the accuracy.

If you're going down to tier 6 you could have played the B.U.G.I. I love its 100mm derp gun. Its one of my favorite s tanks at tier 6. All the tanks you played today have been featured recently in your videos. It would have been nice to see some others.

Im so glad of the mirni event where i got to drive a t49 counterpart and to learn how badly he nerf cripled the monster cannon on this tank. Saved me alot of disapointment.

Do you have Old School ISU-152 replays saved? When it use to hit 1000dmg with it's BL-10 and could compete within tier 10 matches.
I play a lot T49 and I had some amazing sniping shots with it. Not to mention that I had some kills on the move, high speed, shooting a litht tank that was in about 300 meters away. I had 60km/h and moving on traverse and the hit was amazing!

There was one really interesting thing about the T49 game. I always say "first up the hill, first one dead", and he wasn't. 😆
I think the 152mm makes the T49 special under the Tier 9 Lights, if l want a light with a good gun l play the AMX 13 90, T-54 lt. or RU 251, it's the same with the AMX M4 54 and the 120 mm, if l play the AMX M4 54 with the 120mm l could play the S.Conq instead, that's why you use the 130mm
Sacrificing your first born 430U to Stalin is an effective KV-2 accuracy buff.

In the mobile version of this game (wot blitz, u can play wot blitz on PC as well) this 152 MM gun on the T49 is actually the good gun and the dream gun.
The last shot of the game with the KV-2 is what every derp shot looks like when I play. 😞

Considering it's my most accurate tank & most played. I don't believe it's anywhere near the least accurate. 76% hit rate KV-2 for the win!

QuickBaby, I have a replay where I killed 4 tanks in a hit kill, all of them full life, an AMD whelled T6, Cromwell T6, Stravan 74 T6 and a I don't remember if it as a Hellcat T6 or if it was a Super Hellcat T7, but the team didn't bother to defend the base.
I feel like some tanks has a higher chance of hitting center of circle, where others has a high risk of hitting near edge of aim circle.

Well, I have around 800 battles with my T49 and 57% win ratio…and yes I only use derp gun, it is by far the most fun tank for me in this game…with it I got highest spotting match (14k), highest number of kills in match (9), and 3 mark of excellence…no doubt one of my favorite tanks in WoT! 😀
How do you Get to see that «battle hits» screen? Where you can see where you hit the enemies and where they hit you
8:20 are those weaker the rest of the armor on that plate? On console its just a flat 270 all across even the corners are 270

The tier 1 FT has 0.58 dispercion with the 13.2 mm gun
Pz. II has 0.59 accuracy with 2cm gun
