I hope you realize what a gift / talent you have for communicating to us how to create this system for our individual life style. We can totally make this system work for us no matter what stage of life we are in. This is our system and the sky is the limit as to how we use this. Since I put my index card system together yesterday, I haven’t stopped thinking about all the possibilities… I’ve come up with some new goals that I believe your Passion Planner mapping will help show me how these goals are attainable. I’m not ready to map them out yet, but maybe after this video and using this system for a week or so I will be ready. I’m optimistic!! Thanks again.
I read a few negative comments here and wanted to emphasize that YOU ARE APPRECIATED and I’m so thankful I found your channel in the last week or so. My brain has been brainstorming since I watched your first video. Thank you.

So I started this. I’m going slow with it. I only have cards for my daily and weekly tasks so far. I am ready to print out my monthly, seasonal and 12 week year cards.
My first week was amazing! The cards helped me stay on task and I got so much done. The last couple of weeks I have been getting lazy at night and haven’t been completing my daily nighttime cards like cleaning the kitchen, peloton ride, tidying the living areas, even planning out tomorrows cards. I have the time but I just can’t break through the rut. Watching TV in my soft bed just sounds better 😂

I love the "I'm the assistant to Jen" idea!!!!!!!!!! I heard someone else mention the other day -- we never feel like we should/could do the things for ourselves that we happily do for others!! My dayjob is as a personal assistant and I don't know a single PA with their lives properly organised!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND THANK YOU!! x

Husband was diagnosed with cancer last week, I feel the cards will help when we have to delegate tasks, and reshuffle with our schedule.
Thank you for the work you put into these videos.

How are you doing? I'm so sorry to hear that! Do you have support around you to help you delegate?

@@timeandtideplans yes, we have 3 adult daughters locally, friends and church family, I’m searching to see if there are local support groups for pts and family. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

For your video cards it might help to try what I’ve been doing for work cards which is I name the deliverable in the upper right and highlight in works color and then cards are individual tasks or milestones so I can drop those on dates working backwards from deadline. It’s a hybrid agile method with this system and it’s been working pretty nicely.

Thank you....these are very helpful videos! I am a better learner, when I see examples and also hear ideas of how ppl are planning, organizing etc. I get such benefit from these, they help me with my ideas, and certainly help reenforce concepts I might already know...but seem to forget about!

This is our travel week and you have helped me get organized and given me some good ideas . I use the index cards along with my planner because we live in a motorhome and we have a lot of things to do before and during travel days. The cards are easier to take with me and are much easier for my husband to access than my planner. The boat cards are a good idea too. I just label them rv and put them in the months that they will be done.

I can’t wait to watch this video!!
    Thank you!!
My index cards are cut and yesterday I attempted to put them in order. I found a few of your past videos that really helped me. Thank you!! I needed to make a couple changes to what I had done, but it is sinking in. I’m hoping this video explains a few more questions I have.
I was thinking about back dating my start to January 1 only because I already do a very similar task and routine list and if I start then, it will keep in alignment with 2 other groups I’m in that already use the 12-week year. I will listen to this video then decide for sure, but that’s what I’m leaning towards. I feel really good about this system and I really appreciate your enthusiasm and inspiration!! Thank you!!

I have watched some other youtubers attempting to explain this system and always come back to your videos. They are just so clear and precise. I love them. Thanks for the info. Did this system for all of february and absolutely loved it. Havent been this productive in years.

You are too cute, Jenn! And yet such a powerhouse at the same time! 💞💥 I’m loving this system so far (started January). It took me a while to get it but I was inspired by how it helped you through things I also struggle with. Actually using the system (made SO EASY by your incredible products - both free & paid) has made everything come together. I have so much to say but will just keep it at a big THANK YOU for now! ❤❤❤

Thanks for this video. I planned out 6 goals for my first 12 week year schedule but I am only concentrating on one. The other 5 can be used during another time but I’ll have to alter them some. It makes me so happy to actually be getting something accomplished with my goals as well as implementing the S.H.E. plan. My lifestyle is totally on the other end of the spectrum from yours and I am way older than you. But, I am learning so much from you.

You COULD get a bigger bag and split the deck in half, place the straight ends together with the tabs to the outside. This way you would still be able to bring it all with you. Where there's a will - there's a way! 😂

I homeschooled for six years!! I didn't move all of my planner contents into my home management card deck until June of 2023, which was when we stopped homeschooling. I wish I would have tried it sooner - so many weeks in my planner I had to cross out lesson plans and units and move them over to the next week because of sick kids or just life. It's definitely something I want to touch on soon.

Great video, thank you for sharing.
I don’t use this system, but I think I would automatically add the cards behind each divider rather than in front of them. Is there any reason why you like to add them in front of each card?

    • @timeandtideplans
      @timeandtideplans  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

A few people have commented on filing in front of the dividers! When I worked in hospitality we filed guest information in front of their respective dividers. In this case- all of my tasks are sitting on top of the dates and shuffled to the next date when done. They sit on top of the date until then so I can see them. When the cards are shuffled to the next month they have a little home on top of the divider and not loose behind it.

She explained it in a video I watched and it TOTALLY blew my mind. It made so much sense that I went through all my recipe notebooks and refiled how I had them. It’s a game changer for me. I’m 68, so this was a totally new concept, but I lived it.
I hope she explains it, because it’s really good.
