KFC Japan unleashes 'finger sleeves' for diners
Is a KFC meal still "finger lickin'" good if you can't even lick your fingers?
In Japan, the chicken chain is now offering customers something it's calling a "Finger Nup" (nup is short for napkin) for diners who want to keep their paws grease free, reports Japan's RocketNews 24.
The tiny plastic sleeves, which are available for purchase, are designed to keep fingers and thumbs from getting dirty while chowing down on wings, thighs and more.
The chain says the plastic device is an upgrade from using a paper napking to hold said piece of fried chicken. Oil still soaks through regular napkins so company trialled the finger sleeves with an "oil-resistant" material.
Easy to put on and take off, the new product is said to be especially handy for customers with manicured nails or people who want to quickly get back to using their smartphones after eating.

Authorities suspect drugs were involved, but they’re still not sure what happened to Cameron and Courtney Hulet, a young Michigan couple found dead on the floor of their Michigan apartment early Wednesday.
Two things gave clue to what they might have been doing right before they died: Uneaten Taco Bell takeout and a pound of marijuana on the kitchen table that looked like it was being packaged for sale.
“It’s really a puzzle,” said David Uhl, village manager of Dundee where the couple lived, told the Monroe News. “There is no indication as to what happened. It’s a mystery.”
A neighbor in the triplex who went to visit them earlier on Tuesday saw them lying on the floor and thought they were asleep so she left, police said.
When she didn’t see them all day she checked on them later and found their bodies, WTVG in Toledo, Ohio, reported.
Police found the marijuana on the kitchen table and other drug paraphernalia in the apartment, according to the News.
Their Taco Bell takeout was untouched.
Police found no obvious signs of trauma, foul play or signs of forced entry.
They said that Cameron Hulet, 28, had a criminal record that included driving offenses, assaults and charges of marijuana possession.
Police said child protective services recently removed two young children from the home, the News reported.
Toxicology reports are expected in two weeks.

I think ReviewBrah eats like a normal person.. for reviews he takes many small bites to analyze what's going on with flavor combinations and such.
My favorite taco bell/kfc combination is dipping kfc potato wedges in taco bell nacho cheese.
I drove from a stand-alone Taco Bell 10 miles to a stand-alone KFC just to try this combination :-)

Round here, we've got a lot of Wendy's/Dairy Queen though.

My interpretation of pairing or mixing would be putting the chicken popcorn in the taco. Not eating them one after the other.

KFC $5 Fill-up is very good. Chicken strips, mashed potatoes, cookie and pop.
My favorite thing (if you ever go to a del taco try it out) is a classic chicken roller stuffed inside of a been burrito with red sauce. two bucks and you get a big chicken and bean burrito
Ive always put popcorn nuggets in KFC potato and gravy as well as fries from mcdonalds. this was well before the famous KFC bowl.

Have you tried the fire sauce by itself with the popcorn chicken? Never thought of pairing a soft taco with with the popcorn chicken so might have to give it a shot this week!

I worked at a TacoBell/KFC once. As a kid. For a day. Buddy training me told me that if I put my hands in my pockets once more he was going to staple them shut. And then yada yada yada. Thus ending my illustrious taco making career.

I don't know how old you are, but I would state with 100% confidence that all fast food chains carrying popcorn chicken products, had decreased the quality significantly. Sonic, Kfc, Popeyes. And not only that, but the chicken in general at these places is of lower quality than it was in the late 90's/early 2000s.
