I remember your first reaction to them--you saw their talent but weren't sure about the style of music. They can do pretty much anything, and they do. They're sort of like an addiction. Even people who aren't into metal become fascinated just watching what they can do.

We were very impressed watching the ladies in the studio as the camera could get very close and we could see how each member is very talented. We may not have found the right song as yet from the band that sits in "our cup of tea" zone, but we still appreciate what they all can do and someone else may find Lovebites from one of our reactions and totally love them at first sight. Well this is one of the best BANDS playing today, PERIOD, regardless of genre. These women will not be held down by any genre label and are looking to do an entire show with a LIVE orchestra if the label suits give the OK. You might like Empty Daydream LIVE ( th-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/w-d-xo.html). Shows off Miyako's classical piano skills, Asami's bluesy vocals all before they kick into high gear. These women can play anything from Ballads, Power, Speed, Rock, Prog, and even classical piano. Even in studio they are flawless and I swear I never see them sweat even LIVE. I would put them up against any male band and see if they can keep up with these insanely talented women, even though the boys won't be wearing high heels (LOL). Great reaction and while it is not your cup of tea I truly appreciate that the musicianship is appreciated, they are a band that many say should be illegal with this much talent in one group!!

Yes , there is a lotta good stuff out from Japan. This band Scandal was one of the first girl rock bands to tour internationally, They broke ground for Japanese girl bands you have seen, but are self taught , garage pop rock styles , and write and produce their own songs on their own label now 12 albums or so, started touring while still at school in 2009; 2 recent singles/video off newest album. Music, albeit in the metal genre, is an art not a sport. The voice is ok and play well. I cannot understand, however, where the song is. It seemed to me a sporting rather than an artistic performance. At the metal Olympics, they would probably take a medal.

I will tell you a very funny story. I know a guy who is 80 years old. He never liked rock or metal in his life. He only liked country western music his whole life. He seen a video of LOVEBITES performing a song here on TH-cam. Now... Lovebites is his favorite band. Suddenly, he loves metal. THAT is the power of LOVEBITES!
@Metalmadman That is a very strange comment to make. We have done a few reactions to Nightwish and the first one or two were not really our cup of tea. Then we continued to watch a few more and they played different styles, not so heavy and the latest one was more of an Irish Jig and we really enjoyed that one. So how would we, or anyone else know if this is not our style, do Lovebites only ever play the same style? Also, as the other two comments mention, one we are asked to check out other reactions which we do from time to time, we don't over do it and second, someone else may discover Lovebites from watching one of our reactions and it might totally be their cup of tea. We are here to find new Artists and music, if you check out some of our other reactions, you will see we will give most anything a try, even if it is not the latest trending song. Finally, talent is talent and we respect that and it's always great to see something new.

Lightbringer was a Japanese symphonic metal band. The lead singer was Fuki, now best known as the vocalist for Unlucky Morpheus.
Mao was keyboard player and songwriter for Lightbringer. Now he helps Lovebites write songs.
Lightbringer are on an indefinite hiatus, so they could come back at some point. Mao also does work with Unlucky Morpheus and Fuki's solo projects.
Miyako is playing a Dean USA Icon with the Faded Denim color pattern.
