The dama headed toy at the start is a character from an anime called MUSCLEman or kinnikuman in Japanese, it's about wrestling. The main character is the one at 08:23, that's a kinnikuman shaped ken. Hope It helps.
The weird muscle dude kendama is from Kinnikuman which was called Ultimate Muscle in the west.
