I came here from the "A Message to the players of The Finals.." video.. I cannot stress how much i appreciated your perspective and subbed instantly.. Its been a long time since any fps game made such an impact on me and many others but instead of embracing it and giving necessary feedback, steam community chats are filled with complaints saying this is op.. that is op.. and this is just plain sad because people are keen on shitting on the devs rather than exploring the damn game.. They have no idea how fun it is to entirely level maps because they are hell bent on using the absolute meta to win.. I apologize for my rant but your videos are fantastic mate.. Keep posting❤️
I appreciate your rant! Thanks so much for the kind words and your support and your perspective, it motivates me! Yes just having fun is getting harder each day the way it all plays out but it is what it is. Imagine a game mode entirely about racing to destroy something! Now that would be unique haha. Thanks again I appreciate you 🙏
I was very excited during beta, and idk if I just burned out during that duration. The game is essentially perfect on paper, exactly what I wanted : destruction, fast paced, squad based. Heck I even absolutely love mirrors edge. But maybe I'm too old or smth, but also it feels a bit samey - not sure if it's because there's few maps, or few modes, or lack of some ladder to climb. But after 3-4 games I kind of get bored. It just didn't get my 100/100 % hyped up like tekken8s reina does. It's the first thing I think of when I wake up, and last thing when I go to bed. I went to sleep too late because I was so excited to learn more movies for her. That's exciting. Tekken is exciting. I can't wait to boot it up, somehow I just don't get this feeling for the finals. I guess I expected it to be like beta, but more, more maps etc, but it's just the exact same thing. Like they added a map. I thought I'm playing a snippet on the beta, but I was playing the whole thing. Also cheaters..
Really appreciate your input. I hear you. You're being level headed and logical. I think they really need to find more to draw us in and keep us here because everyone has an expiry at some point. Also I hear Tekken 8 is the best in years! One day I'll dig into a fighting game seriously perhaps
@@Sylvus66 it is very incredible, no wonder it's getting 10/10 reviews left and right. I'm not a tekken player, I'm street fighter and guilty gear guy, so I have no reason to praise it - I am in awe how good tekken is. I feel I've overlooked it because it felt intimidating, old, with legacy skill. Right now actually is the perfect time to try tekken8, lots of new players to play against. It doesn't matter if there are veterans, as long as match making is working properly (granted there are your skill level / new players that play still). Lots of content for both hardcore and casual players without nickle and dimming you. No bullshit dlc / pass (yet at least). The gameplay is literally refined over 30 years. You really should try the game. Perfect time. Don't believe that the genre is too hard, or that you can't learn it. For 20+ years of my life I never touched a fighting game. It's just like any other thing - it's hardest at the start, and it gets easier as you get better at it. It's worth the investment. Also, you could make content - " tekken - is it worth the hype? " here's a free one from me :-)
I’m loving it . I’m in between palworld and the finals and that’s it. These 2 games got me hooked. I play controller and don’t mind the aim assist changes
Haha yeah I'm bouncing between both of those as well. Sprinkling in some Last Epoch practice before its full release. Finals is fun fun funs till but man I'd love a sporty kind of game mode
When I played my first game on the finals few weeks ago it felt like Fortnite season 1 all over again in a good way, I haven’t enjoyed a fps or even game this much in a long time and my favourite part is the game rewards you for being creative when it comes to killing, defending, getting different positions or even making whole new positions by destroying buildings and no mater what class I use I just aim to have fun and I’m having a blast but in saying that I dislike how the community handles issues instead of giving real advice everyone is saying this is op and that is op then the devs start to buff if nerf everything when in reality they are cod players trying to team wipe and it just dosnt work like that , it’s good but also bad in saying that in only 2-3 weeks of playing it already feels like a different game in a good and bad way
Well said I understand. People min max the fun out of it. They play safe and boring. Hopefully some balance changes soon to address some things and shake it up a bit
I stopped playing when they made all the changes to aim assist, aim sensitivity and zoom sensitivity. I play on console (ps5). After the changes aiming felt really bad in the game, when I played previously I was having fun and even bought the battle pass. It was going to be my go to game when I had free time but all the changes drove me away, and I was no longer having fun. They don’t need to add any new game modes for me personally, although they would be welcome, they would have to completely revert all the changes they made and I don’t see them doing that. Sucks cause I was loving the game and now I can’t stand to play. Very similar to what happened to me In D4 after the nerf patch in 1.1. Sure both those games had problems, but focusing on pointless nerfs that made the game less enjoyable ruined it for me. Thank you for the content.
Mm that's a shame. I've read multiple comments of people saying similar things. The aim assist changes did not work. They hopefully fix this at some point to maybe reclaim players like you. I appreciate your insight thanks for the kind comment!

I feel your pain brother
stopped playing, had fun but i finished the battlepass so dont need to play anymore, just waiting for the next season now
I'm done BP too, but I hop in and play a few matches still each day. It would be nice for them to add a few more progression systems to earn skins etc
