I think this song is one of those ones he does that's genius in the fact that it manages to seem too short, but not in a bad way, in a way that leaves you wanting more. You want that next hit of sweet Stapleton.

As good as he is on radio, he is 1,000,000x better live. One of the best voices of all time. Dude doesn't need a mic. He can fill a stadium with his voice. He used to be just a writer, but the stars recognized the talent and told him that he needed to sing. Thank God!

Chris Stapleton is one of maybe only 10 country artists I actually listen to. He transcends the genre.

I just seen Chis Stapleton with my wife Saturday with Willie Nelson (amazing) and he sounds just like he does on his albums/ videos. Only took a year and a half, lol. But it was so worth the wait. So good. So was Willie at 88 years old!!!

My favorite artist making music right now. It’s refreshing to hear a guy with so much talent just making raw, real music. No tricks , no autotune. Just his voice and instruments. Perfect blend of country, soul, and rock.

Honestly this is his best work IMO and man does that say something. The album has so many layers and a roller coaster of emotions it's amazing.

Chris is pure soul/blues. He can cross any genre with it, country being his heart, but the fact remains he has a pure soul/blues voice. You talk about him singing something as simple as Happy Birthday, there is a song that is so simple, yet so powerful, by Chris and his wife Morgane (who has a ton of talent herself), the classic, You are my Sunshine. They simply take it to the next level.
Not only was Tennessee Whiskey your first Chris Stapleton video but was your first country music review. I was a follower then and one of the first to see that video. It's still a favorite seeing your reaction to his music. I shared with friends saying, "watch this!" I saw Chris in Houston & was sad to miss him in Dallas bc of Covid. Thanks for this review, guys. I love Chris Stapleton. Listening to him has helped me find some Country music (and other artists) that I really like. He’s definitely my favorite Country artist though. Love his voice.

That first Chris Stapleton reaction was how I found you guys. After that I binged your metal and hip hop vids, followed your country journey and became a patreon. There are a lot of reactors I enjoy but you guys are seriously the gold standard. All that being said, another great one fellas. When you were joking around about Chris singing Happy Birthday it reminded me of that recording of when he sang Barely Alive. It looks like he is singing at some kind of small dinner banquet by himself. He’s on the mic and makes a joking comment about this being the only song he can play on a guitar and then proceeds to absolutely kill it. People are talking and eating during the first verse and after the chorus he completely captures the entire room. I picture Happy Birthday being similar to this.
