Future Sound 6ix: Connecting Youth and Music Industry in Toronto

In November 2022 the Faculty of Music in partnership with the YWCA and with support from the Nick Nurse Foundation, launched Future Sound 6ix, a music workshop program for racialized, female-identifying and gender nonconforming Toronto youth. The inaugural program took place over two days at the Faculty’s Electronic Music Studio, culminating in a public performance showcasing the students’ efforts.
