  • In November 2022 the Faculty of Music in partnership with the YWCA and with support from the Nick Nurse Foundation, launched Future Sound 6ix, a music workshop program for racialized, female-identifying and gender nonconforming Toronto youth. The inaugural program took place over two days at the Faculty’s Electronic Music Studio, culminating in a public performance showcasing the students’ efforts.

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
Thank you for watching our performance. Please consider supporting our students and programming: visit engage.utoront... to make a gift today!
