Mikuru knows how to challenge Gerwyn. 3:5 last year and 4:5 this year, so close away from winning it this time. Gerwyn has to give his best in their next match if she keeps going like that.😉
She just needs to get over that hurdle of winning from match darts. M. Smith struggled until his wins at the winter series and peterson struggled until his win at the German darts championship. Once you get that win, then you can kick on. I'd love to see suzuki get out of her group but hell she's got a job on her hands. Some of these groups are the most stacked I've seen ever. This is the best the pdc has been for competition and quality since its inception. Anyone from group E could win the whole thing and it wouldn't be a shock result. Groups C, A and G look like they'll be close and based on how good the competition id this year, many of the bigger names might not make it out the groups. Unlikely based on recent results and mvg starting to find his form again but literally ANYTHING is possible in this. (Except Warren getting out the group, its just not gonna happen)

@@nickthefox72 unfortunately the commentators in my country aren’t much different. you can really tell that they TRY to treat and comment them equally but simply by trying they fail to do so. it’s the little words and phrases that show me that they favor the women because they think that’s what equality means.
@Oliver McCall exactly, i mean i think i can see where they’re coming from, it’s similar to the racism debate, people just are afraid to come off as misogynist or racist (rightfully so, unfortunately) and by trying to counter that they take it too far . also i think that many people think they have to make up for everything that was done to these groups of people in the past. it’s still better than the other way around but surely not ideal.

@Oliver McCall Not particularly no, but women participating in a major darts tournament is a rarity in darts. And when a woman plays well and even has missed matchdarts against one of the best darts players in the world, I would say the title is a very normal title.
