First, you all did an AMAZING job. That was a big tedious job. I like that fact that you were there every step of the way helping. Your backyard is wonderful.
I had installed the same gazebo. I called my son and grandson and his father over to give me a hand lifting the panels. I have a 7’ and a collapsible ladder but needed an 8’ or 9’ ladder to hold the center panels. You all did an excellent job going through the obstacles of not having enough people to help you out. Now I have to shift my 12’X16’ gazebo over 3’. Have you tried or thought about shifting your gazebo? 12:34 please be safe, this can’t take any weight.
It seems like some of the things you did are out of order compared to how my instructions showed. I had to use a wood clamp too! Glad I wasn’t alone there.
I admire your working relationship. I appreciate the courage to DIY that entire project. Those roof panels are heavy and awkward. Doing overhead work with unweildy heavy objects is very high risk. There were moments I thought you made choices that were unsafe and on the brink of serious injury, especially using 2 ladders with one foot on each and legs far apart. So I wish you would have gotten help for that part of the assembly.
@@allyannie5295 Any video on that build? Did an excellent job on this project. I did a smaller gazebo for my 7person spa cover using Costway 10x12 heavy duty steel gazebo all by myself. It has nets and privacy panels which i liked and was on sale for 279 with normal price of 329. Will see how long this will last before going to your costco yardistry.
I love this video... you guys are awesome...I showed this to my husband as I was so amazed by you two...you did such a great job! 👏👏👏I've wanted to tackle this for years...I still don't think we could do it 😆... we'll probably just hire someone once we really decide if we're getting one. Love your huge backyard btw 😍
Thanks.... We thought same thing too thinking we cant do it. We started with the small one. 10x10 gazebo at our pool area so its kinda easy for the next one
Good job mga kabayan! Truly very happy watching you both working together with your little angel helping you guy. We got also same model delivered the other day and not assemble yet.

Wow the Roof was super Hard but you used 2x4 wood to support it while building the top. Very clever and dangerous as it was windy but in the end You did it👍..
It was super windy it is, thats why try to shake it a lil bit see if it holds properly, it works just make sure the support doesn’t move else really dangerous
Great Video, I got the 12x14 and planning to install this coming weekend 6/22/2024, and yes I'll be wife and two girls helping me. Hopefully I'll work it out with some step latter as well. My concern is if the metal roof make it too hot during in summer? I'm thinking if there is a need for insulation
Ours is open and yes its a lil bit hot but since. Its open it is tolerable but if you inclose is sure its hot unless u gonna put some Insulation and it depends where ur location is. Ours here it gets up to 113 degrees. Also the big tree beside it also help
@@allyannie5295 I'm in North Carolina and summer is getting increasingly hotter here, what would you say is the temperature inside the Gazebo in hot day?
I think our place is same with urs during summer it even goes up to 117 degrees like i said there is a big tree on the side of our gazebo it helps cool down a lil nit when it super hot 🥵. But base on our experience even though with out the tree it really helps when u have gazebo atlest u not getting the sunburn directly although it is still hot but tolerable. Example when its like 110 degrees with the gazebo atleast it feels like 90+ degree it still depends though
We are using 9feet and 8inch long, because thats all we had in some part its kind of tall but we slide it a lil bit and make sure have some support and wont slide all the way on the floor and enough to get support to the roof….
Thank you for letting us know the dimensions. For what it is worth, I used four 9 foot 8 inch 2x4's to hold up the two larger roof sections then tightened up center two nuts and bolts holding it together with a c-clamp. Then placed a 10 foot 1/4 inch 2x4 in the middle when assembling the two smaller panels to the larger. Worked like a charm. Thanks again!
Hi, so far nothing yet and our place is rainy during spring and when it summer it hits 114 degree so we are kind of worry but now still ok and no issue so far
The small one is 6ft the 2nd one is 8ft and the 3rd one is multi purpose ladder if you make it stepable ladder its 8ft but if u put it to straight its 16ft but mostly we used the 6 and 8feet only sorry for the late response
I am stuck on step 26 Attached Twist Brackets They don't align up with gaps on top and on some post gap is on the bottom. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
I want to get one, but have a question. How thick is your concrete that's sitting on? If 4 inches, is that thick enough? Did your patio start to crack at all? Thank you.
If the wood stain fade you can restrain but u need yo clean up the wood first using sand paper and restain . We r kind if having same problem since our place is too hot during summer
Actually we dont count the hours since we are not consistent about it we just do it when we feel like doing it thats why most of the time we statt at noon and sometimes we end it 5pm or 7pm it depends on
Yes po, naka bolt sa concrete, once naka set up na sa taas stable na sya at di sya basta basta liliparin ng hangin… just make sure stable lahat pati ung pangsupport paginstall lalo mahangin
We love doing DIY so we can do it anytime in our convenient time. We did it for 5days if not mistaken and we start mostly noon time…. And yes it is worth it plus learn its kind of our bonding and learning things how to do it

that's why you need to make sure the support you put under is stable and you can also use longer ladder if you have if you don't feel using those wood. But thanks we tried to be careful as much as we can and glad nothing happen and made it
My wife and I would have been divorced during this build LOL!!! Looks awesome!
Why would u say u might divorce lol 😂
I love this video and how your family worked together and ‘smarter not harder’. You got it done TOGETHER! Well done!

No it doesn’t, we make sure all support are tight to avoid some accident

What happened to the trim pieces that go on the sides sp the ridge caps can slide on
Is the wood pressure treated lumber to be more durable to rot, bugs, fire? Is the lumber heavy and of good quality? Any durability concerns?
So far its good and the lumber is ok it is treated
Cant give full review since we just have it for a year .But happy with our purchase….no issue seen
Hello, what size bolts are used to secure the posts to concrete?
Hi forgot the exact size of it since i dont have the manual with me anymore sorry….
@allyannie5295, we ended up using 3/8 Inch Dia and 3 inch Sleeve Anchors from Menards
How did you anchor the gazebo to the concrete? Thank you!
Hi Ally. Just checking in if any issues with this gazebo? I have heard some mold issues from other reviews. Any feedback is greatly appreciated

Also what are the size of your ladders? Thank you

I am stuck on step 26 Attached Twist Brackets They don't align up with gaps on top and on some post gap is on the bottom. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
The twisted bracket is only to hold the roof and it doesn’t matter if they don’t align perfectly as long its connected to the truss and post .
did you have to get a permit for that?
We didn’t
You mean a bribe to work on your own home lol
congrats
Can I stain a piece of lumber and place it under the posts after the gazebo is up?
If u can do it why not. But it will be hard doing it since u need to set and fix the post make it stable before u put the roof .
Nice video! How long did it take to put up?
Took us 5days but we always start at afternoon,,, would be shorter if we start early
I want to get one, but have a question. How thick is your concrete that's sitting on? If 4 inches, is that thick enough? Did your patio start to crack at all? Thank you.
6inches thick , so far no cracks at all
What to do to the gazebo when the manufacturer stain is fading from the sun
