If its made right then they will not come off or get damaged. That's the benefit of gold and diamonds. I've been wearing my dainty looking ring for like 7 years everyday all day, whether I sleep or work out.
I love the two-tone! I chose a platinum engagement ring with one diamond set flush into the band, and a super thin yellow gold eternity wedding band with teeny tiny diamonds all around.
That is a stunning piece of jewelry. I have never liked two-tone jewelry but this changed my mind. Thank you for your explanation of how things work as you go along. I keep having questions and presto! You answer it in the next sentence.
Love it! Thanks for the comment about the difficulty of sizing an eternity ring, I had never considered that. This is a very peaceful video style, by the way 🙂.
very cool to watch the process and to see the folks who actually have these rings! now i'm curious why that one step of the process is done behind a plastic screen, is that because of chemicals or odor or bits fly off?
I believe it's due to the vapors since he cuts the ring earlier without a barrier and also since that white box has a ventilation system. Some solder had lead in it (like in pipes/plumbing) in so any vapors off of it would definitely not be something you'd want to inhale. It could be different for jewelry making.
It's a safety measure for the polishing lathe or buffing motor. Most jewelers would say its the most dangerous thing in the entire workshop as they can spin over 3000rpm. The shield is there in case the ring catches it may fly off or if they somehow get entangled in it, you'll get pulled in before you can even do anything about it. But also, the extraction system is there for the polishing compound, which can be made out of many things including aluminum oxide. They're great machines, just very dangerous even for the most experienced!
Another great video! I love what I can see of your bench. Could you share your bench setup some time? Looks like you have some cool ways to organize your tools.
This video was very helpful and very informative! I loved how the clients were very relaxed, and I would love to see her artwork as well and I would love to hear a demo of one of your bands tracks!❤️
Very NICE! It’s great to see the process of securing diamonds. Great content. Keep up the good work. I’d like to coordinate a project with you one day! 🤞
This ring is so BEAUTIFULL! I never wear rings, but if i get a wedding ring i would love it to be like this. But i cant imagine how expensive it would be with so many diamonds in it 😅
Hey Jordan. I'm thinking about setting up my own Jewellery workshop. Can you recommend a good beginners tools and equipment list for newbies like me? Thanks in advance.
Hi. Love your channel! You're living the dream... It's the best job in the world imho. I'm curious (obsessed, really) about your curved Smith Little Torch tip. Did you curve it yourself, or was it purchased like that? Strikes me as WAY more ergonomic, comfortable. - Lisa
i would feel like the ring would itch or scratch the inside of the fingers with all the lil prongs and diamonds, does the finishing touches take care of that? or do the outer rings mostly protect from that happening?
It doesn't look like there are any prongs on the inside, just little holes that let some light into the diamonds maybe? I don't think it would be itchy anyway because everything gets super polished
Wow I never knew how my tiny diamonds were set. This is amazing to watch. Do you fix rings too? I have a custom gold and onyx ring that the onyx broke. It's been redone twice but broke again.
If I was a gold Smith I would slowly collect gold and diamonds for my kids so when they grew up they wouldn't have to buy a wedding ring and could have it custom made and I would collect different kinds so they could pick what cold and then could even have there own ring or whatever they want
Meanwhile, I can see myself struggling to pick up one diamond and set it in the ring. I know that sh*t would fall sideways eVeRY tImE. Beautiful piece!
Are lab grown diamonds as brilliant as mined stones? Are lab grown less expensive? Since they are technically perfect, there is no need to match them like mined diamonds. I want to give my granddaughter a gift of diamond jewelry for her 16th birthday, but I’m scared she may lose them. Can you give me any advice as to where to purchased lab grown diamonds? Do you ever accept orders off of a request from this video? Many Thanks.
I never thought of a Men's Eternity band being a thing, let alone that it would even look as amazing as that! Wow. Just wow. I'm sold. Nicely done!
I know right!!!
I've seen them on men, but they always seen is look very, very simple. I rarely see them as elaborate as this, this is really nice.
I like this style of voice over
so cool!! i would be so anxious with all the little diamonds and maybe dropping them or something. 0-0 super impressive tho!!
White gold beads or small prongs like that gold the diamond really well. White gold is so hard that the stones are good to go for a long long time
If its made right then they will not come off or get damaged. That's the benefit of gold and diamonds. I've been wearing my dainty looking ring for like 7 years everyday all day, whether I sleep or work out.
@@mridul7639 yes I agree. I have ever re purposed diamonds in 100 year old jewelry and the diamond are perfectly still in place after all that time
@@NoyesDesignsjewelry You have actually got some nice creative stuff on your channel, I'll take a look :)
@@Stettafire thank you so much
Beautiful yet very masculine!

👍🏻 this ring is my favourite of all the rings you have made
Love it! Thanks for the comment about the difficulty of sizing an eternity ring, I had never considered that.

This process is so fascinating - and your videos are so well-done overall!
That ring is breathtaking beautiful.
My mum and dad have two toned wedding rings. So this video was really interesting:)
This is one of my favourite designs you have done. My ultimate favourite is the ring you made for your wife.

Absolutely love, I have a milligran 6mm comfort fit band so I added 2 small diamond bands on both sides my partner and I did that a few years ago.
It’s so beautiful. Exquisite craftsmanship ❤️
I saved this for a night when I needed something to rid my aniexty. Thanks for all the hard work.

Don’t know if it’s just me but I actually prefer this voiceover style than the other!
I can't wait until I can afford a sweet jewellers bench and polishing wheels! I miss making jewelry so much!!
Very nice. Lots of 'bling', but still classy.
Love the Instagram live you did the other day!

This ring is so BEAUTIFULL!

Really Pretty!
Hey Jordan. I'm thinking about setting up my own Jewellery workshop. Can you recommend a good beginners tools and equipment list for newbies like me? Thanks in advance.
Absolutely loved this!! 😍 I would love to see something similar in using all three metal tones, please 🙏🏽
My husband has a beautiful three toned gold ring, we love it
Stunning! I have no words 😶 🤩
So much like Diamonds☺For Jewelry-Designer ,we like more Amethyst,Tourmaline or Rhodorosite😊

Those holes are for light ❤💍
Got huge diamond painting vibes from this
Wow I never knew how my tiny diamonds were set. This is amazing to watch. Do you fix rings too? I have a custom gold and onyx ring that the onyx broke. It's been redone twice but broke again.
He has fixed rings in other videos
Love your videos! Have you ever accidentally dropped a diamond while transferring to a ring? That would be a nightmare...
How many hour does this take. Such precision!

Love the video! It’s funny how our cultures are so different. In Brazil, that wedding band would be worn by a woman ☺️
It’s different from a wedding band as its an Eternity ring :) xx
What budget do you have to keep in mind for such sort of rings ?
Are lab grown a better grade than dust ? Or does it cost less ? Great ring. Nice video 😎
Meanwhile, I can see myself struggling to pick up one diamond and set it in the ring. I know that sh*t would fall sideways eVeRY tImE. Beautiful piece!
I love this. Even as a woman. I want this lol
So would I. It's beautiful.

amazing video!! what bits do you use to polish the ring?
Woow thats amazing 🤩
You should react to lil uzi verts forehead diamond, please 🙏
aww this made me so happy XD
Modern Goldsmith, brought to you by Dremel ;)
😍😍😍😍
Hi! What's the name of that tool that picks up the diamond?
okay so I'm binge watching now.......( move over netflix) .....SB australia
I don't think I have the nerve for this type of crafting!
Love your work. You’re location?
If someone wanted to purchase something similar to this how much would it roughly cost?
What’s the difference between flux and borax?
