YAY - Horus got mentioned - whoop whoop :) haha anyway - onto the main video, superb sac and congratulations Marc, this is such an awesome update. Fingers crossed for the babies.
@tarantula.rookie As for the name... if you are into Science-Fiction check out the Horus Heresy series :) Worth a read, especially the first three: Horus Rising, False Gods and Galaxy in Flames ^^
@@tarantuhalla possibly, but from the size of some of them I don't think they would have been in the sac to much longer, probably the ones that had eggs stuck to them.
@@seansspoods9521 They are already darkening, I've noticed yesterday that their legs are getting darker... so. Propaply not much longer and they will get to L1 ;)
Pirate of the Caribina 😂 You definitely made the right call. I got a bonus sack with a female H. carolinensis I dug up a week ago, and it was wet from flooding and digging and i had no clue how far along. Probably should have pulled it anyhow, but they do better if kept with mom as well. She opened it a couple of days ago and I've seen nothing crawl out, so I fear I should have risked it and may have nothing. At least I have a female H. carolinensis now though!
@@tarantuhalla I hope so, it seems like lots of people have them in Europe now. They're a bitch to find here even. I've only seen them for sale a few times and I wanted to keep the locality the same, so after 8 months of growing slings up to be other species, I was pretty stoked to find a female in what I thought was an Aphonopelma burrow. They are great, they are what drew me back in.
Congratulations on the babies ❤
Thank you ^^
Good call hun,and good luck 🕷️💖
Thank you :)
Made up for you and your rat is awesome ❤
The rat is amazing ^^
I think you made the right choice mark .
I am pretty sure I did.

It was definitely a good call on removing them
Thought that myself... thank you for the comment :)
Big congrats on the slings, certainly the right decision to open it, could have lost a few more if not.
I fear I coud have lost every sling.

Hognas are great spiders :) Maybe one day I will get one and have a chance to breed them.

@@JasonBooth79 For me to get a P muticus was quite a challenge, and it seems a lot of people across the great pond have them ;)
Congratulations for the babies! How many days did you let the egg sack with mom?
Thanks :) Around 6-7 weeks.
