- Teton Raptor Center researchers have been in full swing this winter fitting GPS transmitters on great gray owls for a winter ecology study. While in hand, Research Director Bryan Bedrosian takes an opportunity to educate on the unique adaptations great gray owls have to help successfully hunt in the wild.
that eye thing makes them seem a great deal more fragile.
still beautiful and almost hypnotic when flying
That owl is pissed asf
"She's a little feisty, wants to go out hunting again"
UNHAND ME YOU OAF!
"She wants to go out hunting again."
She'll hunt YOU!
Imagine getting blindfolded and they start touching your toes
There's gotta be at least one cult in the world that does this.
What a cute and magnificent creature, I hope she is well 😍
Owls always look pissed off.
Magnificent bird!
Been going back to see your old videos. Would love to know how many of these beautiful birds you've saved.
Thank you. Raptors are so important to the world.
Beautiful owl...
Not all owls have feathered feet but great video of a beautiful owl
Burrowing owls: “excuse you. My legs are bare”
While burrowing owl legs are mostly non-feathered, they still do have some light feathering on their legs that can be seen up close! Check out this link to see: web.stanford.edu/~siegelr/birdz/burrowingowl.html
😂 They look so cool standing up like meerkats by their burrows.
Man those guys are beautiful
It’s very beautiful owl 🦉 👌
Hopefully it was released back into the wild
Of course, she was. That's what these guys do: save raptors and even some fortunate corvids who needed their help, as well. 💙
