Card on file only since day 1, unheard of around here in this backwater (central MI). If they got a problem with it, someone else can service their lawn, havn't had any push back, not into playing flip flip games getting paid. Enjoy the content as always, keep it up!
This was fkd up. I fell asleep for a nap today, and had a dream I was showing you my setup with the large and small mower that both fit in the truck and come out on ramps w dovetail. Measured the mower by tape measure and you were pulling so crazy hard on the other end I was like woah buddy chill. Crazy dream, I gotta stop watching YT before bed lol!!
have you considered completing transactions the morning of service before you day begins. It would cut out all payment issues then and save you a trip and time, and you could touch base with the customer the morning of to let me know if they have an issue with card.
I've watched a lot of videos saying "Credit Card on File" is the only way to go. Here in Canada, we have E-Transfer. (direct from account through whatever banking institution). Costs like $0.40c per transaction as a processing fee (on their end). Really good option to ask for scheduled end or 1st of the month payments. All I have to do is click a couple boxes on my internet banking. Do you have E-Transfer in the States?
No never heard of it. Sounds like an ACH transfer out of a checking account. Some large companies ie At&t, Utilities, etc do offer payment though your checking account but never heard of any lawncare doing that.
@@GwinnettLawns yeah here it's super commo, that's weird. Even some "Craigslist" kijiji buys I've negotiated through direct transfer, no cash and walk away with it.
I am part time currently. I plan on going this route after becoming full time. I hate chasing money. Have to do it every month

Can you show how to do card on file free yardbook
Stripe has those options instead of doing it through Yardbooks in my experience. Maybe Yardbooks pro has a way to do it?

Great topic! Would love to know how you keep track of stuff for taxes and what you write off
Ok I will do a vid on that!

Yes, that would be pre-pay and I have thought of doing that but not sure how well received it would be, but it's the best scenario.

Of course you pay, just saying it's a weird system
