I'm 67 years old living in Sydney, Australia & have trained in gyms for 50+yrs. .. with Covid-19 closing the training centres the bands have become my "gym".. your explanations & videos on chest, shoulders & arms are the best I've found online. Well done mate... I might just become the worlds oldest 'groupie".... seriously, much appreciate!

    The "soapbox stuff" for lack of a better way to describe it, was spot on. Really appreciated it, word for word, and it was a great reminder for why I've worked out every single day since this quarantine stuff started. Can't control the circumstances, but we can still decide to get better regardless.

    I totally agree…no one is watching at home. I purposely bought bands to start going hard this year since Christmas. I am 56 going hard. The bands are a godsend. They are cheap and don’t take much space. Thank you brother for sharing your knowledge with us. It helps me to keep moving forward and making a good change to my body.

    Thanks for the video and inspiration Fouad. I'm not a bodybuilder, I'm 47 and trying to keep the muscle I have, so I'm at home with my 20 lb dumbell and resistance bands to stay in shape every morning before work during these lockdown times were in. Staying fit is the best protection against illness in general.

    Big Fouad, wanted to share this for your subscribers and u. When doing flat presses, you can also do a tri -set by pressing slightly above ur head to mimic an incline press, followed by flat and lastly by pressing up and forward to mimic decline. If u use a heavy band, it's a real exhausting set especially if doing forced reps at the end. Same applies when doing band crossovers. Anyway, not to overstep my bounds cuz ur the guru not me, but food for thought to help everyone else out from my own ass busting session.

    The moment my city (NYC) mandated the shelter in place and all the gyms closed down, I immediately turned to craigslist to find a private home gym I can use. I offered money and to train with a mask/gloves on and would clean it down with disinfectant. Got no offers :( Bought a pullup/dip tower to fit inside my tiny apartment and the mountain dog collection of bands from Elite FTS. I train for myself and only myself. Your workout guides plus the ones from animal and John himself have been a godsend. Thank you.

    The message at the end is some of the best advice, especially for people starting to work out: Train like no-one is watching. Do it for yourself and not others. Read, learn about nutrition/rest/proper form/techniques/etc, experiment/learn your body, and grow/get stronger.

    Oh and band workouts is a HUMBLING experience...damn, band workouts and body weight stuff is HARD because we're muscled and unaccustomed to it. 100% on being a purist. Hoss, much utmost respect for the attitude, honesty and ideas/education to benefit people. God bless your soul, ur a good guy.

    you can double up the bands to add additional resistance. so if you have a set of 5 (from xsmall, small, medium, heavy, xheavy) and the xheavy isn't enough, add the heavy or medium band to add additional resistance. Most overlooked aspect ive seen in resistance band training videos

    for floor presses, you can also combine bands , e.g. 2 mediiums or a medium and a thin if you don't have a thick one.

    Tip about push up with a band: twist it once so that it makes an X on your back. For me it stays back there better. When parallel, one side of the band tends to slip up my shoulder onto my neck.

    It may have been posted previously but it's worth repeating for visibility. If you tie a knot in the band you can put it above/below the hinges in your doors at home. It's (almost) infinitely adjustable. I'm sure there's other videos out there that'll show how to do it without having to tie a knot in your bands.

    Thank you so much for these awesome closed loop resistant band workouts. I happen to be already doing TA2 Build at home and have a full set of Undersun Fitness bands. You have provided some excellent alternative exercises, tips and no bullshit commentary. If viewers also have dumbbells, using bands and dumbells with the floor press is an extra killer. I totally agree about leaving your ego at the door. Recently I have slightly lowered the resistance and really focused on contracting the muscle for the full range of motion. I have trigger improved targeted muscle soreness and overall results. Thanks again and really looking forward to more muscle groups.

    i ve been lifting for 3 years, in april 2019 i got tendonitis on my left elbow, took 2 months off gym, lost motivation etc, came back later and like 1 month ago i got my physique back and started doing good, due to corona my gym closed, so i decided that no way i m gonna give up my physique again, bought 2 bands + power twister + 2 5kg dumbells, and tbh i m doing good, i said to my self, If i dont stick to the right workout + nutrition while i litterally have nothing else to do, i ll never make it ,
    Please make an arms workout for us !

    -Body weight pushups(max)
    -Resistence band push ups(max)
    •band is to be placed on the shoulders/back and on the elbows
    -mimicked hammer press(max)
    •lay slightly inclined on a wall and push up diagonally and hold for a second or two
    -Floorpress/dumbell mimication
    •Requires the thickest band at disposal
    -Cable crossover mimication
    •requires a pole to mimic a cable machine
    •Do not bend ur elbows it engages the wrong areas
    -Crossover(forgot wat is was called -w-)

      Honestly, I have searched TH-cam for band workouts and this is the first I have come across demonstrating the incline technique. I subscribed to be notified of more gems like this one. Oh yeah, the message at the end of the vid was spot on.

    last week i bought a lot of bands because i have wheights but not super heavy and i dont have the option to do super heavy at home.
    With bands it is a lot better and this workout video's also with other muscle parts that are created are so great.
    even like the cross over, you think about hey if you dont have a pole do it like this.
    i saw couple of people that created also videos about bands, but none thought about do you have this option at home
    so thank you!
