  • Watch as Matic provides valuable details and actionable explanations on how to choose the perfect radiator for your liquid-cooled gaming PC. Radiators, or popularly - rads - are among the essential parts of a liquid cooling loop, but not all of them are created equal. Some are simply more rad than others.

    One thing to remember when choosing an X-flow radiator is that they are longer than the normal radiators and some case manufacturers don't (easily) support an x-flow version while they say they support an 360mm radiator. The x-flow version barely fits in my Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX TG top bracket.

      Do you think the x flow 480mm radiators would fit in my Corsair 1000D Case at the front. There is room for 2 480mm radiators side by side. Trying to decide if I can fit the X series with push pull fans and a pump reservoir attached to the back of the radiator fans or do I need to go with the P series 2 of them?

    I have a Corsair 1000D case. I wonder if I can get awat with a dual 480mm X size radiators with push pull fans and a reservoir/pump mounted to the back of the radiator fans?

    Super informative, EK videos have guided me on my liquid cooled journey. Question though, at 0:36 seconds, what is that mini display screen below the gpu card showing 4.50 on its display ?

    I ordered a complete custom liquid loop system off the EKWebshop and have sent a support ticket to change the radiators from the Quantum Surface P480m radiators to the X480m radiators. Im worried the ticket wont be read in time before my order ships. I live in the US.

    I'm a bit confused about why my Enthoo Elite seemingly doesn't show the correct radiator options on your configurator... The front should support a 560 rad, but that isn't even an option on the configurator..
    I'm considering watercooling for my next build, but the configurator is very unreliable in my case (no pun intended) which is actually a bit of a problem imo.. It's been too long since I've done water cooling, and I've never done it on my own system, so it feels like I'm starting form scratch again.. 😅

    берите самый большой радиатор который может войти в ваш корпус. Если в длину увеличить не возможно увеличивайте толщину. Но помните чем длиннее и тоньше радиатор тем тепло отведение эффективнее. Если хотите добиться тишины, то берите как можно больше радиаторов чем более избыточная система охлаждения тем тише будут работать вентиляторы.

    "bigger is better" that's totally wrong.
    Have fun to get cool temp with a thick rad when your fan can't blow out the hot air .

    • @TheSigmaQueen
      @TheSigmaQueen ปีที่แล้ว

      Get fatter fans

    • @papusan...
      @papusan... ปีที่แล้ว +4

      There is common knowledge that you put fans in push and pull for thicker radiators. And this will allow for lower fan speed (less noise).

    • @MyJapaneseLife
      @MyJapaneseLife ปีที่แล้ว +6

      He said "bigger" not "thicker". And he made hand gestures indicate that he meant longer. He's correct. In the video he also said that in general if you have to choose between bigger and thicker select bigger.
