You don’t turn on any lights on gate, turn on lights when your on of your engines are running

You turn on nav on gates , beacons on engines . Strobes and landing when on takeoff clearance , you can turn off landing lights above 10000 ft

To maneuver the aircraft according to your device's holding position actually🗿

It's important to calibrate after holding your device properly for example in 80° position...calibration is required before landing and takeoff
